Great homemade food with great fresh juices and above all very nice environment, very cozy and friendly. Served in 20 minutes, managed by the owner (cooker) and served by a lovely assistant. Be aware they speak Arabic and French but they try their best with English (was enough for us). Dark street to drive (but it's Lebanon, if you arrived here, you already know the drill). On our way up the mountain, we asked a local police officer where we should eat- this place came highly recommended. We let our Lebanese friend do all the ordering and absolutely loved everything that came to the table. The thin bread is all made fresh and everything is homemade! The restaurant looks to be part of their home, which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. The place was empty when we sat down, but thirty minutes later, the whole place was full. Some locals (or family?) sat beside us and the family's father got up to cook in the kitchen (which is viewable from the indoor seating). Once their food came, they offered us some since we didnt order it. "You have to have try this when you come up here!" Everyone was incredibly friendly and hospitable. It was absolutely one of my best dining experiences ever. They have some gloves for sale and we took out two of their sleds to go ride down a nearby hill of snow. What a delight! We loved their food so much, we even took some of it home with us and had some fried food packed into a paper bag.

Amazing restaurant in Arz few meters away from the slopes. This restaurant is run by a family so the food is basically all homemade and is very tasty. I felt home in kawkab especially with the exceptional service offered by the family. You can call ahead of time to order special food that are not on the menu (1day ahead preferably) and also you can buy some homemade jam and other stuff.
Wonderful, great friendly service and tasty food . Will do the whole trip again just to eat there. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The best place in the region to try the lebanese local breakfast , the owner is so welcoming, fresh food They have to improve the sitting area to let the visitors enjoy the view of the forest !
Marvellous place. The home made food is absolutely delicious and clients feel so welcome. The owner, Kawkat, is also making great jams and pickles. We will definitely be back.
