One of the rare few Japanese restaurant in Kuantan.
Service is fast and courteous. The toilet is surprisingly impressive and large for a restaurant in a shoplot.
Food is OK. Plenty of choices though. Even have fusion like petai curry rice. At prices of typical of Japanese restaurants in KL, the flavour and quality are not up to mark.
Eat here only if you really can't hold back your Japanese food cravings.

Patronised on a late afternoon on weekend. Plenty of seats available. Ordered set rice with grilled saba fish, and a cheese prawn roll (ebi tempura maki). Definitely a hearty meal. I quite like it. Street parking available. And it is true the menu stinks. @.@ please do something about it as that's the very first thing customer will touch...

Served very nice and authentic japanese food.
Ordered two sets of rice, one request to change rice to more vege; and they allow for the change without extra charges. 👍🏻
Teriyaki chicken is good, sauce not overly sweet.
Chawanmushi texture is good as well.
Restaurant & chef are detailed person as can see from food served. Orange is pre half peeled & steps to toilet are taped with yellow black floor tape.
Price wise is very reasonable, definitely can repeat again in future.

A hidden gem in Kuantan. A spacious and clean Japanese restaurant that you can enjoy tasty food. Prices are reasonable. Reservations are strongly recommended to avoid queues. Parking is painful.

Overall lower rating with some hits and misses at this restaurant.
Big miss on the service, they serve food like fine dining style, one dish after another following your order sequence, be prepared to wait for your main dish for at least 30-40 mins.
As for the food, biggest miss is the ocha chazuke. It tasted so terrible I couldn't even comprehend, they used very 'gao' green tea which does not go well with the rice at all. After that, we realised what went wrong is that there is no Dashi stock in the tea broth they gave us, no wonder it is just pure bitterness and rice that's all. It gives a very bad aftertaste in the mouth. Attached in pic the chazuke unfinished.
There are some good hits on food as well to note. Highly recommend the miso grilled eggplant, it tastes so good and sweet like banana yumssss. Next can try the special unagi don, and then tamago mentai, Chuka wakame and lastly the salmon belly sashimi is worth highlighting it tasted heavenly.

Very fast service! Food is well prepared, modest in taste but meets expectations of a medium range restaurant. Moderate professionalism in service, don’t expect a high level service like in a fancy restaurant.

Pork Belly Ramen
One of the best Japanese restaurant in Kuantan. Atmosphere is good and cosy. The waitress also came up with decent quality of services. Other than that, its quite pricey in this region but still cheaper if you compare to KL.
I have ordered two plate of sushi, one plate of pork belly ramen and kimchi pork teppan come with one bowl of rice. Overall, I would recommend sushi if you are new to this restaurant.
In conclusion, this restaurant is definitely worth a try.

Stumbled on this quaint little Japanese restaurant in Kuantan. Food was surprisingly good. Generous portions served and pricing was reasonable considering what we ordered. Nice ambience and service was quick and orderly. Parking is convenient along the street. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience for us.
This is one of the better Japanese restaurant in Kuantan. Most dishes are authentic but some for me personally seem localised. I tried their Miso Chicken Katsu and it was very different. Tasty but not salty from the miso, paired well with rice. Rich in flavour. Good thing there's no chicken smell here. Salmon Skin Maki didn't disappoint, this is a good indicator on how well its made. Pass! Another interesting dish is the Salmon with Cheese in Hot Stone, like the HK Cheese Baked rice but with expensive ingredients. Recommended if you like something different and cheese. Overall it's still good for what they offer. Some items can be a bit pricey if you are familiar with those in KL.
