Great find. Staff was very kind and attentive. We had fried rice, hot butter prawns and biriyani. All the food we ordered were great, fresh and flavourful. They hadn’t add chilli unnecessarily to all dishes like many srilankan restaurants do. Place was great, only 10min drive from Jetwing Kaduruketha. Highly recommend trying this place.

Nasi Goreng
They have brought forward a creative concept in which their main restaurant is arranged on top of a boat. This place has fulfilled almost all the requirements. They have a good parking space available. Their customer care was superb. Food was really fresh and delicious. Most importantly their prices were very reasonable and affordable.

Visited Kauma’s Boat Kitchen and here's my review:
I ordered shrimp soup, but what arrived after half an hour was a portion the size of a teacup (150 ml) with just one shrimp on the rim of the bowl and a broth resembling starchy solution with bits of boiled onion. The soup cost around 950 rupees; I declined due to the overpricing and opted for fried rice. It arrived promptly in 15 minutes, surprisingly tasty, and in a decent-sized portion. However, my friends, who stuck to their initial orders, received their food only an hour after placing the order. Unfortunately, one of my friends experienced stomach pain and food poisoning the next day.
Overall, the restaurant's rating seems inflated. Downsides include small portions with overpricing and slow preparation times. On the positive side, the restaurant offers a scenic view of rice fields and mountains, and the restaurant's interior is fashioned from the remains of a ship.

Food is delicious but it was delayed a bit. But we are ok with that because of the rush of that moment. Location and the concept is at another level. Also this place has good parking space and toilets also. Toilets are not in the standard level but it's clean.

Got 2 chicken fried rice and 2 chicken kottu. The food was good and tasty. Different kind of experience. But there's a small problem in the seating arrangement. The top floor is not leveled properly. It's kinda uncomfortable when you are sitting.

Chicken Kottu
Had a fun and delicious lunch here today on the way to Ella! I liked the kottu roti a lot and the staff was attentive. The place is a boat on a parking lot with a beautiful view of the mountains.
