Can’t say good enough things about this place. Would start with the food and views over the vineyards but after coming two days in a row for lunch what stands out is the outstanding service and personal touch of Juan and Samantha. On or first lunch, we had already booked to eat again the following day even before finishing our food. Would recommend doing a booking as the place is small. What an amazing treat to spend time at this restaurant . Must oder the slow-cooked skaapstertjies and Trout starter again! 5 star cuisine served with love. Super to pair local wines with unique dishes that compliments tastes buds in every bite 😋 Friendly owners and dedicated shef and wife team that is simply outstanding 👏 This undercovered Restaurant is simply a Winner 🏆 We went on a very hot day and were very pleased umbrellas could be moved to create more shade. Free parking. Best to book a table as they get very busy, even during the week. I am a customer for life and will always return here. Perhaps expand Main Restaurant and add Airconditioning 🤔 Kapokbos Restaurant is independently run from what I understand at Weltevrede Wine Estate and simply put is extraordinary and with Mastefully prepared dishes. Tip: don't forget to pop into the Deli that also sells local produce and a range of freshly baked goods. ( perfect to grab for a picnic under the shaded tree tables) Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

This was fantastic! Loved the vibe, beautiful music playing outside from the parking already made me think this was going to be awesome. The staff was such beautiful people. So friendly and caring and welcoming people. Bright futures for them! I don't have pics of the garden only alot of videos - go there to experience it for yourself.!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What Chefs Sam & Juan have created here can only be described as MAGNIFICENT. From the moment you are greeted at the front desk to every service experience thereafter by Dieter, Ben-Carel, Corne & Jacobus was such a stunning dining experience like I've never experienced before. To think that the highly-recommended Short Rib and Pork Belly prepared by the owner-chefs, Zelda, Tanya and Shantalee was so Fantastic with the meeting of flavours we never dreamt possible, I keep dreaming about the next trip. Thank you Sam for the stories of your journies to arrive at your dream 'home' and thank you for sharing your passion is such splendid style. The cherry on top was the suave Xolani in the Deli who just oozed so much passion of his dreams. We will be back! I had the pleasure of dining at Kapokbos and it was truly exquisite as per usual. The chefs demonstrated their mastery with every dish. Plus the wine selection was wonderful, perfectly complementing the meal. The standout was undoubtedly the fish of the day, trout, and Skaapstert prepared to perfection. Each bite left me wanting more! So that's what I did 😂 If you appreciate fine dining that is actually filling, views that leave you day dreaming and a well maintained property - Tell them I sent you. We had an amazing lunch at Kapokbos. The menu has a great selection of food even for vegetarians. Our starters and mains were delicious, great flavors and colors. Our waiter was also very friendly and helpful. We did a little wine tasting before our lunch as well and we were happy to know, it’s free if you eat at the restaurant. Wow, wow, wow!!!!!! A round of applause to the team at Kapokbos! Everything was absolutely outstanding. Definitely in my top 5 restaurants I have ever been to. I will definitely be back as frequently as possible to taste the different menus of the seasons. Beautiful views, phenomenal food from starters, mains to desserts. Fabulous wine! What a true gem!
