Although probably eligible to compete for the title of Japan's most geographically remote "manga cafe"/"manga kissa", Kaikatsu CLUB Nagoten still offers the full range of services you'd find at locations in much larger cities. For first-time customers you'll need to register beforehand in the Kaikatsu CLUB App, and with no English-language support available you'll be relying good old Google Translate if (like me) you're less than fluent in Japanese.
Clear that initial hurdle, however, and you have easy access to this and every other Kaikatsu CLUB in Japan. If you need somewhere inexpensive to stay the night, a fully private and locked room goes for roughly half what a hotel would cost. A coin washer and dryer is available on-site and showers are free-to-use (although out of consideration for other guests you should try to limit yourself to 15 minutes). For a budget solo traveler, places like this are a great way to save money. If you just need a change of scenery and somewhere to relax alone for a few hours, cubicles and restaurant-style seating are available as well.
The food K-CLUB serves is OK, but with several restaurants in easy walking distance and entering and leaving/returning to the club freely allowed, there aren't many circumstances where eating-in is genuinely the best option. The manga library is all in Japanese, but that's to be expected.
