Its ok i guess. It is not accessible to public unless your son or daughter studies in the college. It's a very open area. The service is average. Fries are normally as hard as rock. One of the better points about this place is that the food for breakfast gets prepared early. During Lunch this Cafe in particular is normally crowded. Unfortunately, this Cafe is off limits after 7p.m. to boys so i can't describe much about it. Food is typically alright. There is no wow factor here. The meh factor is strong with this cafe.

Basically if you are looking at this, You might be coming to KMM (Kolej Matrikulasi Melaka). If you are rushing, and urgent for details, scroll alllll the way down to the conclusion. The thing about Cafe A is it might be the best cafe in KMM. Try out their chicken rice! Costs only RM3.50 and the taste is dang good I assure you. A hack for this is that you could actually ask for "Tambah nasi" or if you dont understand, additional rice for your Chicken rice is free! For RM3.50, you can get a soup, gravey, chilli, veges and chicken rice! You can also try out the Roti Canai stall over there. The price is cheap and it serves various types of roti canai which is my personal favourite. The foods over at KMM will get too pricy if you take the foods manually a.k.a. economics rice which is not economically friendly at all. Why do I say so? Well, FYI, there are a total of 3 Cafe in KMM namely Cafe A, B and C. For all the cafe, you must know the hacks for all of them in order to save your future money. One thing for sure is if you take toufu, 1costs RM1 each and the toufu is very small in size. Chicken costs RM2.50 each slice! (that was why chicken rice is recommended!). So just some toufu, vege, chicken of yours will range from RM3.00 (If you have the skills to camaflouge your food under your rice) to RM5.00 or even RM6.00, depending on how bombastic you eat. Thats why I would say the food may be pricy. Then, about cleaniness. Since Cafe B and C is not found on Google (as of 22nd Aug 2018) , Cafe A is by far the cleanest and Cafe B doesnt fall too far behind too. But for Cafe C, the ranking is going to be a negative number... Food is bad, pricy, sometimes cointained a legit aluminium screw in your rice, chicken rice becomes chicken bone rice and for the worst, A LOT of male students faced food poisoning after eating there. Why only male students you ask? Oh bcuz sad enough only Cafe C is at the male's dorm! You can only go to the highly recommended Cafe A and B during schooling hours and before 7pm. After 7, the boys will have to leave the area as it is considered as the Female's dorm area which men are restricted. But because the kolej is near a big chicken coop (WAY Bigger than KMM shown on the map), finding flies are...well normal, in fact, unsurprising at all, just for your info, dont freak out. Every cafe is basically the same but improvements have been made and seen by Cafe A and B only. Next, its the services. Services in Cafe B tops off. They are all friendly, kind and very helpful. Plus, they provide good and fast services which comes in handy if you are rushing. For Cafe A, most of them are good but there is this one lady who always serves damn slow.. exactly like the sloth in Zootopia. Ok, her effort in decorating and presenting the food gets a 10/10 but what she doesnt notice was the line is across the whole bloody cafe at peak hours. She wont feel any rush, any changes of the line and most importantly, she doesnt go FASTER. Serving like a 5 star food but not like a 5 star serving speed. And here comes Cafe C again. Rude, Bad, and the FACES. Once I went at around 7.30 in the morning planning to get some hot MILO, thinking that beverages might not be so bad. But out of the blue, the person told me, the one that makes Beverages is not here yet BUT she was in the middle of making A JUG OF MILO. She says she cant serve and didnt know how to make MILO when she is making a JUG of it. HOW LOGICALLY AMAZING! And they sometimes gets angry and started scolding students too. As a conclusion for the whole Cafe in KMM, A and B is highly compareable, C is the worst and Oh! In order to order your food (except economics rice and chicken rice for Cafe A) you have to write it down on a piece of paper provided there with your name on it and pass it to the main counter to pay first. And if you are wondering, Cafe A and B DO SERVE FRUITS! Stay healthy and good luck In KMM.
There are only 2 cafes that serves good and trustable food in KMM and one of them is here. They have their own special dishes here. Too many to mention actually.. just go ahead and try them.
While the food is delicious imo, it's also quite overpriced. Not sure if there's a change of management since it's been almost 2 years since I've been here. The place is also peaceful since it's far from the center of KMM.
Their Kambing Bakar (flame grilled BBQ lamb) is delicious. It isn't over-marinated. Just nice.
