The Goto Hell is strangely sweet and not good. The dynamite was great. BUT THE SERVICE!! Please retrain your staff, their body language and way of addressing communicates that every customer is an unwanted hassle. They took our order impatiently. They chatted openly and loudly near us. They seemed happy and cheerful, EXCEPT when they had to give us water or accept our extra orders. A server bumped our seat and said nothing. It was all very weird. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ₱200–400 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Place is very much the same from last we visited. Food is really great. Took some friends to have a small get together and they were surprised by this little nook serving wonderful food in the area. Place is great not to crowded as well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Lumpiang Togue Deep Fried Vegetable Mung Bean Sprouts Spring Roll

JTG's Lugawan Republic is a mixed bowl of good eats (pun intended). The signature Pilugaw isn't available anywhere else but here. It's been copied by other lugawans but nowhere else is it as good at it is here! Yes, it has been disappointing of late probably because of the current situation that is the pandemic that the myriad of ingredients it used to overflow with is now but a memory. Other favorites like the crispy tokwa't baboy and okoy were not spared from the effects of the pandemic. If at all, now is the time to order take out or selectively dine in. Maybe, if more people support JTG, management can bring back the look and feel of this resto.

If you're hankering for congee, don't go to this place, go to a dimsum place, but if it's lugaw or arroz caldo, this place is good enough.
Nice place, good ambiance and good tasting food with a reasonable price. Only that it takes longer than usual to have your food served.
I’m just really sad for this resto, ive been a fan of this resto for almost a decade but it loses its charm and quality service already, food is stil great, but the crew needs more training. Specially this pandemic, they dont get your temps, they just let you sign a form, everything is self service already. The amount of lugaw in your bowl is fewer than before. I hope they improve.
I would have rated it 5 for the food. Basic lugaw is thick (not soupy like other lugaw). Tokwa't baboy is done very crispy. Serving sizes are reasonable for the price. Service water has a pandan flavor to it. The parking is quite a challenge but they have parking attendants who will assist you. The place is cozy, but upon entering the floor was so wet due to the leaking aircon unit. Nobody even bothered to mop it. The restroom is situated way inside it's neighboring resto. It would be appreciated if they kept it spic & span. The wait staff are attentive enough. They do not issue official receipts. We find that the food is good enough to keep on revisiting this place for a hot bowl of rice porridge.
Just love the Bistek Tagalog here...it's just really good! I'm not even talking about the assorted lugaw here. The lumpiang togue is also worth mentioning...same goes for their beef caldereta. You nèed to try and experience it for yourself. Service is a little slow considering that we're in a pandemic and they are still adjusting to the new norm. Overall? Just great! Kudos to the crew and management. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks
I ate here with my husband and parents-in-law and since my original order Caldereta was not available, it was my first time to try their Baked Pork Ribs that day. It tasted so good. I would definitely order that again when I come back. Also, they agreed to change the cucumbers as side dish to tomatoes 'coz I really don't like cucumbers. 😊

Al fresco dinning was really ideal. Sanitation a priority. Plus contact tracing. Basic Lugaw for those allergic to chicken and chicken broth. Topped with (or on the side) goto. Very tasty! Very crispy Tokwa't Baboy. Tasty and spicy side dish of Dynamite!
