This was a gem of a restaurant that we found as out of town guests getting into town late. All of the staff clearly worked as a team to take care of guests. There were a bunch of local regulars in the night we were there. That is always a good sign. My toasted coconut margarita, in a tall glass, was tasty. We shared a bruschetta that had perfect little tomatoes and olives. I ordered a side of mushroom risotto, it is one of our favorites to cook at home. This was creamier than ours. I had the seafood casserole and my husband order the chicken dish that had a rich red sauce. So many choices, we would happily revisit when we are in town again.

Service is not good. Probably the last five times I ordered takeout they just can't seem to text me to tell me the order is ready. I finally got pissed off and talked to the manager and I was told "oops" forgot to send the text. The food is good and I have eaten in the restaurant and service was fine. Don't order takeout. Best dinner We have had in awhile ❤️. Really impressed by the flavor of my scallop dish with mushroom risotto. **Update 4/15/2023 ** Another delicious meal meal at JP's!'I have never been disappointed other than the fact that I love the seafood fra diavolo so much I don't try other dishes! My friend had the rib eye gorgonzola and absolutely loved it. The meat was cooked perfectly. Maybe someday I will save room for dessert! My friend and I have been faithfully visiting JP'S almost weekly since their move to Falmouth. The only weeks we haven't gone have been when we couldn't get a reservation. The food and service is AMAZING. We've had Katelyn as our server every time and she is wonderful. I'm addicted to the seafood fra diavolo and get it every time. My friend usually gets the rib eye and loves it but tried the chicken and broccoli alfredo with spinach instead of pasta and was not disappointed. She also swears by the gorgonzola dressing. Tonight we didn't have a reservation and tried to get into the bar but it was full. I purchased a gift certificate and we were leaving disappointed when the hostess said they were full until late. Luckily Katelyn saw us and let us know there was a no show in her area and we were able to enjoy yet another amazing meal. I highly recommend JP'S. You will not be disappointed. First time for my wife and myself with 4 others who have visited several times before. Service was very slow from 7 to 7:30 pm, but then was good. Food was very good. Started with short rib ravioli for appetizer. I had the chicken and eggplant combo. Large portions with good prices. Will definitely return. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Came here for the first time with another couple and totally enjoyed our evening. After a bottle of wine, The apps were quickly finished. The salads and meatballs were fantastic. For dinner I had the Seafood Marinara Fra Diavolo and it had some nice heat. Everyone else really enjoyed their dinners as well. We split a death by Chocolate and it was just as well. Lots of calories and goodness! Our server, Teri, did a fine job and we look forward to coming back. If your hungry for italian at it's finest JP's is your spot! Not a thing on the menu will disappoint. Owners/staff will treat you like family and you will not leave hungry. Check it out! 2020 Jaguar Ghost Tour.

I'm sad to have to leave this negative review for a restaurant I really like but probably won't go back to. The server was great, our Shrimp Scampi was scrumptious, but the Veal Parmesan had a strange taste to it. My friend and I noticed it almost at the exact same time. The flavor was intensely tomato-y and kind of sour---like if you ate straight from a can of tomato paste. We tried to like it (the Veal was tender) but we both just couldn't do it, so we sent it back with the waitress thinking there was something wrong with it. Nothing was said to us about it until after dessert and coffee when the waitress brought our check. We had assumed that they would be taking the meal off the check since she never brought our food back or offered a replacement. She apologized and said that the chef refused to take it off the check. Then a woman came over (possibly a manager?) and explained that the chef said our dish tasted good and many people come in for the sauce so we still have to pay for it even though we sent it back and ate almost none of it. She was not apologetic or understanding at all. Went on and on about how hard the chef works—Not a great way to hang onto loyal customers. The food can be good at JPs. If you go there, though, know that the chef (and the cranky manager) decides whether or not you are satisfied, and if you disagree, you're wrong. Sad😥 Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

An absolutely wonderful experience! Our server, Alex, along with the entire team, was super friendly and professional. We were very impressed with the customer service. The space was clean, cozy and very inviting. Most importantly, the food was perfect and was clearly made from scratch and with lots of love!
