The OG bar with a great host (the owner)!
He came to greet us when we got a seat, suggested an Arrack and we loved it.
Will definitely visit again if ever in Sri Lanka.

What a pleasure to find this gem. Old school pub , good food , ashtrays on the tables cheap beer ,750Rs large lion , clean toilets. Good fans even and right next door to the bus station! 100% recommend it. Possibly not perfect for snowflakes 😉

Preveen, Nandika and Lal. Best service. First day in Galle. I am so glad that I came across this bar. Prices are very affordable and nice people to talk you while you enjoy your time! They will share their knowledge of things to do in Galle. 100%

There’s a lot of talk about dive bars these days, but this is the real deal. A place where (mainly) men’s men come to drink. This is not a place for those looking for craft beers, trendy music or bar games. With that knowledge in mind you should love it!

Really delicious generous rice and curry Buffet for 490Rs. Usually paid double for the same quality. Can really recommend :)

Wonderful local bar in the centre of Galle near the bus station. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t have any but would recommend this to anyone
