This is by far the worst Jewel there is the other day I went to the Deli they didn't have Salami or Ham everything was out of stock. Then on 3/2 I placed a curbside pickup order early in the morning for the first time since it was the only way to get the deals and they waited all day to cancel it on me to reschedule it for 2 days later pickup. They took the money out of my card and when I questioned them why they did she was screaming that they never charge me until the order is picked. I called and they are so rude and if they don't have an answer for you they just hang up wouldn't once take my name or order number to check on it. The other Jewel managers I called were able to fill all their curbside orders for the day and had no problem answering the questions I had when I didn't even shop at their location with a friendly manner. Every single employee I talked to yesterday was so rude and screaming at the Oak Forest location. I will never go to this location ever again.
These ladies at the self check out are completely ignorant. Twice I have them come over to my cart and looking at my screen then she put her hands in my cart. Know I always take the scanner and ring my stuff up it's quicker. Never had a problem till today she came over and told me I have to take everything out and scan it. She grabed the bags out of my hand and started talking to me like I was a child. I had 3 items plus water not a full cart like some people do. If you are so worried about theft. Take the 5 people that are standing around and make them cashiers.

I am so appreciative to the way the Oak Forest Jewel is today. Over a year ago I may not have written this. I've noticed a change upon walking in. The Moral is so much better! I then noticed the Store Manager, Mike Buchanan having a "hands on approach" too which he leads by example. I personally Thanked Mike. I can see he has sincere respect for the customer as well as his employees. Thank you Mike, we all appreciate you.....

March is a busy month for me on the birthday side. I have always been able to count on the bakery for my celebration needs. Every time, without ordering ahead, I have been able to walk in and select a cake and all of my other party needs. The cakes/decorator are always so subperb. Literally, any day of the week, you can go in, pick out a cake that looks as if it was already customized for your specific needs. I’ve never used a privately owned bakery - Jewel has better quality, taste, and prices. My family always has a smile on their face when I arrive with selected treats. They would never guess, I purchased from Jewel. I will be returning, time after time, for my special moments.
It’s really amazing how painfully slow this store has become. Three people struggling with angry customers in Deli, yet multiple employees just standing around in Bakery. Nobody lasts in Deli due to Union prohibiting other employees from jumping in to help, low wages and dealing with angry customers who are angry due to the long wait times. Great employees and managers have retired or quit due to the lack of support from corporate.

Prices high and not competitive and gmo prices as high organic natural foods at other stores, even higher than other jewels nearby. Low amount of staff and gloomy setting. Also the fried chicken horrible and cooked horrible quality and ingredients
Overflowing garbage in all the cans inside and in the parking lot. Parking lot is full of garbage, store is in disarray. The employees dont seem to care. In the 24 years i have lived in this neighborhood, this is the worst ive seen this store. I wIll be looking for a new place to shop.

This One Is For The Bakery ! I Usually Don’t Write Reviews But I’ve Ordered Cakes But The Bakery Twice This Year One For My Family Reunion And One For My Daughters 6th Birthday Both Cakes We’re Superb ! I Mean Fresh Ingredients, Usually With Store Cakes Sometimes The Icing May Not Be The Best, At This Jewel The Icing Was So Fresh Both Times. The Ladies In The Bakery Are Always Amazing Sweet And Helpful ! Customer Service Is Amazing! From Now On I Will Be Getting All Of My Cakes From This Location ❤️

Very rude store Manager Michael tried to remove a 13-year-old girl From the Mobile cart, and when we told him she is disabled and just had back surgery. He then said that she doesn’t need it and we are not customers in the store and proceeded to have one of his associates threaten me and her saying she is going to get us whatever that means and then Proceeded to have another associate approach us and harass us her name was Tammy she told my niece to get off the cart because can walk,she also said go ahead and complain on me I’ve been here for years and she works in bakery as I can see there is no consequences for anyone actions am a loyal customer and I see this disgusting behavior and discrimination against disabled people, and completely ridiculous, that we needed to be harassed and attacked like this. This problem needs to be resolved.

The last four times I’ve used Drive Up & Go I’ve waited over a half hour while being the only car in the section. I’ve had to call the store and notify them then wait another ten minutes for them to bring the groceries out.
