Had a gyro and it was very good. Packed with meat and lots of sauce. I think they fried the pita on one side because it had a nice toasted flavor and a pleasing crunch, while still being soft and flexible. Fries were small but I got plenty and they were hot, crisp, and flavorful. Will definitely be returning. I like the fact its a black owned business! The food is ok. The services could be better. The fact someone was eating and taking my order was not what I was expecting. One guy that was making the food was very attentive and his service alone was what I was expecting all the way thru. They have so many things on the menu with no descriptive its hard to make a decision. I thought this was the same business that has the food truck but I'm not sure if it is or not. My go to is the fish sandwich! My family tried other things and they said the fries didn't seem done. The combo meal wasn't for an adult clearly. I feel its worth another try. I'm willing to keep going until they get it right.

One star is being generous. These people should not be in the business. Completely inept, which is why there are never any lines. Don't waste your hard earned money at this establishment if you can call it that. WAITED A HALF HOUR FOR A FRIGGING PIZZA PUFF, WHICH WAS UNDER COOKED? DEFINITELY FROM THE WEST SIDE OF THE CHI. I've been looking for a place like this in Madison for a long time. Glad I found it. Although the hot corned beef sandwich wasn’t great, it was good and the only place in town that serves one. The fries were fantastic--fresh, thick-cut, and crispy. I'll be regular now that I've found it.

Food is decent but expensive, and the lady behind the counter was nice but severely understaffed (she was the only one there for lunch, so she had to take orders from both drive thru and counter, plus make all the actual food.) The place itself looked like it was in the middle of being torn down. Floors and tables were filthy, broken chairs and stuff stacked up, pop machine was busted so had to go to the gas station next door. It looked pretty bad. This place is disgusting, I can't rate it less than 1☆. There is cross-contamination, gloved hand touching Raw food and then everything else? The place is Flithy, the Health Department should stop and take a look. I ordered a large soda and was given a warm can of pop?? The Fries were soggy and barely warm but greasy. The Chicago Dog i ordered looked disgusting/old, I hope I don't get sick... I thought I found a place that I could get some Chicago-Style food, I was planning to try different things from different visits but I won't be back...
