This was one of the best Japanese restaurants we have been to.
The menu is huge and so diverse. You can have sushi or ramen, but besides that, some other very unique dishes like sea urchins or baby octopus.
Everything we ordered was prepared very well and was satisfying even for the picky eaters at our table.

Reasonably priced Japanese appetizers, portions are small so you can try a variety of dishes. The happy hour 10pm to close is a great deal, if you like to eat late. The menu is huge so I need to come back to try different dishes.

We visited on Christmas Day, and despite having reservations we still had to wait in line to get in when they opened. We received our drink order fairly quickly, however despite ordering our food within 5 minutes of our arrival the first plate didn't come until 40 minutes later. Meanwhile, people who arrived at the same time had already eaten 2-3 plates of food.
That said, the food was all quite delicious. We'll definitely return next time we're in town, as long as it's not on a major holiday.

Visited Izakaya Go Tapas and Bar, the last two Vegas trips and both times I left impressed! What I love about Vegas is the city’s ability to box up a landmark, a city, an experience, or a cuisine and bring them to a single destination, which happens to be a literal desert oasis.
Izakaya Go checks all of the boxes! I really felt like I was back at a Japanese bar. The food, the smell, the ambiance, the charming staff. It’s all there! I’ll let my pictures do the talking. In short, it was just a fun and delicious night out.
Here’s what to get:
The skewers! Premium chicken leg, chicken breast with ponzu, beef tongue, bacon wrapped asparagus, shrimp! They grill the meat with imported Binchotan charcoal. Get the sashimi! They fly a lot of the fish direct from Japan. The chazuke and udon will warm you up!.

this place has over a thousand reviews and I still think it might be underrated lol. very deep menu and extremely reasonable prices, especially during happy hour. top recommendations: any yakitori and 1.50 oysters, most of the happy hour menu tbh. not a lot of room inside though so expect to wait during peak hours especially if coming with a large party.

Sushi
To be honestly, this is not a Izakaya, it’s just a normal small Japanese restaurant, we had highly expecting with the Izakaya style skewers, but we had the worst experience here.
I ordered many skewers, but when food presented the eel was cold, the scallop was cold, the beef was rubber hard, and the beef tongue could break your teeth, and all the skewers no tasty, some with the same sauce, some no sauce, some overcooked, taste bitter, some not cooked well.
Chicken skin was deep fried, not from bbq grill, we just wonder do they have bbq cook in the kitchen?
The sushi rice was hard. asparagus was dry and old, hard to bite.
Please cancel your skewers from your menu, it’s not worth even one dollar.
We spent $70+ for each person here, we will never come back, we even feel sorry about the Japanese yakitori.
The only positive review was given to the decorations looks not bad.

We travelled to Vegas for one thing, amazing food. After indulging in a $500 tasting menu, we were sure we had reached the peak of our experience. Then we ate here.
Short of travelling to Japan (which I have), I don’t think you can get any more of an authentic experience than Izakaya Go. The food was mind-blowingly good, the atmosphere was on point, and did I mention how good the food was?!
My only regret was eating 3 hours prior, limiting what I could possibly eat here.
Thank you to the whole staff (especially the owner) for making our trip a memorable one. Can’t wait to come back.

The food here is good and the prices are reasonable. The service was quick and the staff is friendly.
The Fried Pork Belly was good, as was the Beef Tataki. The Salmon Carpaccio was even better. The skewers were underwhelming, but they are pretty cheap, so that makes sense. They are pretty small portions, so maybe good for kids or people who just want to nibble.
The Chicken and Pork cutlets were pretty good as well. Priced at under $10 each, it's almost half of what you would pay for a full cutlet dinner, and all that is missing is basically the large portion of cabbage.
With all this being said, there isn't anything special here that differentiates it from any other Japanese Tapas place in Las Vegas. I don't think anyone would be disappointed eating here, but they also won't be raving to their friends about it either.
