Had great experience here. We arrived alone, and walked around this small island, which is an exception to the rest of the mangroves here. After a short while, another group showed up with a complete picnic setup, that they did not hesitate to share.

This is was a whole different experience. Truly do recommend. As a foreigner this was a great opportunity. This is was great.

This place has fresh oyster sale early in the day..before 2pm. And even just visiting is a great stop on your boat ride. Please keep it clean. Pick up before you leave or all that goes to the ocean currents and back to you, me and our families eventually.

On new year day, my friend and I came to Mandinga and we were able to share a lancha with a another family. Then we left from the restaurant to head to this little island where we really enjoyed the freshly sucked oysters. On the way back, we were blessed with the amazing views of sunset over the mangroves. To get here, you can book with one of the tours in the city or self guided is also possible.
