This is an open kitchen concept Japanese restaurant serving Omasake in IOI Rio. We tried their set lunch, the food freshness was good. The environment is cozy, no crowd during lunch. The only lacking is we can still hear the blending and cooking noice even we sat at upper floor.😅 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Family lunch as a group of 10, loved the whole experience! The restaurant is well designed with dark tones creating a quaint, modern atmosphere. Soft Japanese beats in the background instantly relaxed us as we settled in the private room with a long table that can seat 12. The omakase sets are priced at RM288, RM388, RM588 with higher quality ingredients in higher priced sets. We ordered all 3 variants with some noodle add-on for the elderly. The Miyazaki Beef was soft, chewy, and flavorful, the "juice" bursting into the mouth with each bite. The seafood was fresh with an intense umami taste. Every dish had its story (explained by the chef), and was a delight in texture and flavor. My favourite was the bread with fish - the milk bread was fragrant and crispy! There was also a good selection of sake. We ordered a few bottles, with the yuzu-flavored sake suitable for elderly, and the Dassai as a high quality staple in any drinking sessions. For those new to sake, the red color Oujiman bottle should please the table. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, highly recommended! Tried their middle range omakase and unagi set. Price range for omakase is good and reasonable with the quality of the food they serve. Unagi set is a bit high range but special. I got a chance to try fresh Uni from Norway. Special and tasty. Ambient is good and staff is friendly. Do recommend to try. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 160–180

Amazing food here, service at the restaurant is great! 5 out of 5 stars! Missing a star for the horrible online reservation experience which did note down the customer reservation details to the team. Advice to double check your reservation and follow up one day before your reservation. Else it went down to drain.. Rarely give 5 stars but I think this restaurant deserves it. You can taste the fine dining quality. Music is a bit too loud and not matching the food and environment. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Was given a flyer as I was coming up the escalator at IOI Rio. It promoted set lunches for RM23.90, which includes green tea. I ordered the tempura set which clearly stated that it was RM23.90. When it came to the bill, it showed RM33.90 for the tempura set, RM5 for the green tea. The bill came to RM42+ including tax. When I asked the server cum cashier, she looked lost. She said that this price wasn't applicable today. Today is Thursday, for goodness sake. And the flyer didn't say weekends or what. And why bother giving me the flyer if it wasn't applicable?! I got fed up talking to someone who could barely communicate, paid and told her this place sucked. Not that I think she understood. At the same time, when the set was served, it came with multi-grain rice instead of the normal Japanese rice. I do not like multi-grain rice and asked to change and she told me this was the only type. Wow, such service! The entire menu including the flyer featured "white" rice. Tutup kedai saja la, if this is how you conduct your business! Portion is also small, btw, and also oddly enough, it also came with a mini piece of garlic bread. Strange for a Japanese restaurant Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
