After enjoying Rod Library, visit this confectionary restaurant which is not far away. Try good sandwiches at Insomnia Cookies. Most guests recommend trying tasty biscuits, chocolate cookies and peanut butter cookies. Food delivery is an important benefit of this place. The attentive staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Most guests say that the service is terrific. But google users rated this spot and it didn't get a high rating.

Insomnia Cookies is more or less a self-service place to grab some frozen yogurt & toppings. You serve yourself some frozen yogurt & toppings they are weighed & you pay accordingly. What it lacks in the atmosphere it makes up in a casual low-key pay, grab, & eat there or take out place for a quick dessert. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Sugar Rush
Last night my boyfriend decided to order us a deluxe 6 pack to go since he had a doordash order and the delivery was in the same neighborhood we live in. The woman working the shift last night said she’s gotta make more cookies, so we waited about 10 minutes and when we got home we decided to split a cookie and both noticed the cookie was quite doughy and chewy, but thought maybe it was just because it had taken us about 10 minutes after picking them up to get home and actually eat them. We go to cut open another cookie and noticed that it looks undercooked, mooshy, and not how they usually look inside. Also noticed the chocolate chunks didn’t look like they had been melted and cooled, they just look like they were just barely warmed up. We eat here quite often, and everytime the cookies have been soft, fall apart soft almost, and have never had a chewy doughy texture when taking a bite. Anyways we wake up this morning feeling sick, spending 9 hours back and forth to the toilet. At about 5pm we call and say something about the cookies and waking up making us sick. The employee over the phone said “I know they’re fully cooked because I cooked them” and we said we will come in to show her the cookies. We get to the store and upon arrival within 2 seconds of opening the box she immediately says “nope those are cooked” “I know because I cooked them” and we tell her to look at the middles of them in both boxes and she ignores and grabs one half of the cookie and says “see how it’s kinda crispy dark on the edges the cookie wouldn’t be cooked if it didn’t look like that. That’s how you know it’s cooked” and continued with “we cook our cookies for 15 minutes I cooked those for 15 minutes I know they’re cooked” completely disregarding the middle of the cookie being undercooked and sent us on our way saying she knows they were cooked because she cooked them. We literally ate one cookie, why bring back all 5 cookies if they didnt make us sick. We love insomnia cookies, we have never had a bad experience and this is just unacceptable as a paying loyal and local customer. I didn’t know employees here were so okay with serving their customers undercooked food. Cooked cookies are not doughy. It’s okay, atleast I have an oven to cook them properly.

The young lady working was super friendly and helpful and personable, my wife and felt like we could bring her home for dinner. Will definitely come back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I would rate this zero stars if I could. I placed an order at 10:30 pm. The store says it is open until midnight so I figured that’s plenty of time. The entire time my ETA has said ASAP so I already felt like something wasn’t quite right. I called at 11:10 to check on my order and the call goes to a National call center. The person I spoke to said there were notes that they needed to bake more cookies, as well as a note from a customer who went to the store and it appeared to be closed. The call center staff sent them a message to give me a call and if I didn’t hear from them I was to call back. I of course never heard from them and gave a call back and did receive a refund. This was my first time ordering from Insomnia Cookies and will likely be the last. I am highly disappointed. The point or niche of this business is to serve late at night and the fact that they appear to have been closed as early as 10:30 is ridiculous. Completely defeats the purpose.
If you looking for a dessert and in the mood for a delicious cookie this is the place. They also serve ice cream. Quick and easy out. They have 2 sizes of cookies. I recommend the bigger ones.
Absolutely NOT worth the price! They were not warm at all, the double chocolate cookies were dried out as if they had been sitting out for quite a while, rather small and thin and the flavor was nothing special. Could have gone across the street to the Kwik Star and gotten 4 to 5 dozen for the price of 1 dozen and they would have been softer, bigger and in my opinion would have tasted much better.
Ordered 2 cookies for my husband to be delivered to him at work since he was working late. I indicated that they were to be taken inside, not left at the door. The cookies were left outside, on the ground. The only way he knew they were sitting there was when his dinner delivery guy told him. They also left a receipt on the box so he saw the cost. We decided that since the cookies were super small, not warm because they were left sitting outside and the tip, tax and delivery making the two cookies almost $7 each, we probably won’t be ordering from here again. :(
Very odd snappy manager. Our group dropped over $100 in five minutes and not a single thank you or smile. very odd when we’re trying to support a local business through Covid. I guess we can all have a bad day.
My second time there and I still wasn't able to get a brownie. The guy ahead of me ordered one and had to wait 5 minutes. He got his and when I tried to order any, they were out! Why do I have to order in advance? I should be able to get one just by going there.
Fabulous, big cookies & yummy bars. The blondies were delicious. I had the chocolate cookie with chocolate chunks & asked them to add buttercream frosting on top. They warm the products first. They also sell ice cream. I had white milk with my goodies. Yum!
