Nice Italian restaurant in centre of Hamar. Close to the railway station. You should book table in the busy hours in the weekend. Stylish interior and spacious. Ordered gnocchi and tagliatelle. Tonight I ate the worst spaghetti in my life... I'm 46 years old, I love Italian cuisine but I never expected to eat reheated food from yesterday in such a restaurant because I ate the same thing yesterday only with different pasta... Very cozy place with excellent service and good food! 😊 we ordered mussels for starters. They were very simple but good. Then we had pasta carbonara and Fregola fruti di mare. The Pasta Carbonara was absolutely amazing! Fregola didn't quite suit me, but was ok. Finally we tried the tiramisu, which was also very good😁. Food was a bit expensive. Finally a real Italian restaurant in Hamar. I really recommend this place, delicious food and the service is top quality. This restaurant is amazing. In the times we are in, it's really wonderful to find a place where you can discover a little bit of Italy.🤗 But you need work more on good service.

Have eaten at Il Teatro a couple of times and have really enjoyed both times. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff that mostly speak english. Had Lasagne, which was just amazing, and the Quattro Stagioni pizza. Pizza was delicious but a little cold when it arrived which made it a bit hard and difficult to cut (without the sharp knife which was provided during our second visit) Second time we were 8 people and everyone enjoyed their food. Had Carbonara, Calzone, Principessa pizza, Agnolotti, Lasagne and Buschetta al Pomodoro. Only complaint with the Calzone was that the inside didn't cook fully so the mushrooms were raw and the cheese was unmelted. We also tried the Tiramisu, Tortino al Cioccolato, Cantucci e Vin Santo, Tartufo and Cannoli Siciliani. The Tortino al Cioccolato was probably the best choice; the other desserts were ok/good but all were fairly high priced for what you get. Wish they had some more vegan items as the Bruschetta al Pomodoro (starter) was the only option. A couple of suggestions: it would be helpful if there was an English menu and the waiter should check back occasionally (for drink refills, etc.). Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back, our new favorite place in Hamar.

Pizza and lasagne were very delicious and fresh out of the oven, no convenience food. Very good meal in a nice atmosphere. The service staff was somehow stressed and under pressure but did the job quite well.
