We went there in the afternoon before the bar was open and ate the Buffet. They probably have 20 to 30 different items and the food was really good! It was an open air restaurant with areas on sand. You could see the beach in the ocean maybe 100 feet away from where are you sat. Don’t leave your plate, unattended or Birds will come down and snack on your food. 😆 it was quite the adventure and the food was delicious!
Cool experience, but it is really cold, even with the poncho. It was $20 per person, but came with drink coupons. You can use the coupons at the outside bar too. It's too cold to stay inside for long.

Love, love love. It's $20 usd per person but you get 2 drinks and 2 shots. It's freezing cold inside with lots of sculptures. The bartender was so friendly and fun to talk to. Loved this place so much.

WOW, $20 for access to a sub zero climate and 3 drink coupons?!! I'm sold!
Way cool inside, pwn intended, really really really enjoyed this. One of the coolest bars I've ever been to (pwn intended 🤣). But in all seriousness, it's really cool, you get served out of ice shot glasses, there's ice tables and a ice air hockey table - it's just cool. Also, I was overwhelmingly impressed that there was no time limit (maybe there is sometimes?).
Way cool, definitely will be back next visit to the island.

The Ice bar is a good location to stop by for a tourist experience while on Isla Mujeres. The bar has an all you can eat buffet, bar with beach side service, a few shops and the main attraction which is the ability to go into a walk in freezer that is kept below freezing. You and friends can see who is able to last the longest inside the freezer. Overall this is an ok experience. The beach area is small with a good amount of seaweed vs other locations. The cushions on the chair by the water need to be cleaned as they had stains on both sides of the cushions.

I am just super piss about my braids!
Great food, great time, great view however my expensive braids did not last one day!
One side is ok and the other fell out completely and these should have lasted over 2wks not 1 day.
They have offered to redo them for free!
Thank you

Neat place to visit to cool off from the heat for a while. They had a huge buffet that looked good, but we didn't eat there. The ice bar itself was fun. They give you two drink tickets. I got a margarita, and it was terrible, so stick to beer for the free drinks.
There was also an area for pedicures where you put your feet in water with little fish. That was fun and not expensive.

Food is for sure not recommended. Service is good and the staff is friendly. Atmosphere is ok but not wow. Honestly, in general much less than promised or expected. On the way here we did a snorkeling trip which was also not special, too crowded and you dont find any special fish or you dont even find a turtle (maybe we were unlucky) but in general, the whole trip to Isle Mujeres is not something special, and I do not think it is worth the money.

Honestly, overrated! The food was good, the service was slow, and it's way too crowded to really enjoy your time eating by the beach. Did not try the icebar due to vacationing to get away from the cold. Might be more for the spring break crowd.
