Food was horrible. Got the hot braised chicken wings lunch special and the chicken was old and very chewy. I got my wife the chicken and broccoli special and it looked disgusting. First thing I noticed when I walked in environment of this food place is dirty. Did not give napkins or utensils. Some people are on the go and need those to eat their food . Fortune cookie was old. Food was bland. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Very average. Very underwhelming. The food isn’t bad, just bland. Dry chicken, seasonless lo mein and fried rice. No official ordering system so you better remember what you order when you pick up. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Nice neighborhood in-n-out Chinese. It's fast, all your expected menu items, and typical price. Pretty clean dine-in area.

Walked in to grab a half order of chicken lo mein and a cup of hot and sour soup. As I walked in, the place is absolutely filthy. But I was starving so I ordered anyway. He says the total is $17 which is insane. Half a side of noodles and a cup of soup for $17?! I politely said, “that’s okay, no thank you. I’ll go somewhere else. That’s too expensive.” He then yells at the cook in the back “cancel the order. He’s crying it’s too expensive” lol 88 China is great as is Hunan Empress not to be confused with this Hunan Express. I was just in the area and decided to give them a shot. If the prices don’t scare you off the cleanliness will. How they pass health inspections is beyond me.

Had a great experience here in June, 2017 (last week as of this writing). Food was prepared very quickly, prices were very good, and the food was about half delicious and half standard expectation. In particular of note are the current specials listed on the dry-erase board behind the register (photo included). These typically are worth giving a try, even if they look a little unusual by typical "Chinese" restaurant standards. Staff is very friendly. P.S. Reading some other reviews, it's worth noting that the restaurant has apparently began employing someone to help keep the front of house clean and in good order.

Used to be good. I ate here 2-3 times a month. Idk why they started going downhill? Maybe they have new managers or cooks running the place. The lady that works there was always SUPER friendly, but I never see her there anymore, only the men. Food was cold even though I waited the usual 10-15 minute quote time to pickup.The friend rice was kind of slimy the last time but used to be so good. I will try them again because somedays are bad for everyone but if it’s like these past few visits, I’m gone for good!
