I was driving by Sargos today when I came across this restaurant. Since it was Christmas day it was the only restaurant opened within miles. It happened to be really good place for a tasty lunch. Variety of Indian food served in big portions will fill everyone. Pricing it's also quite affordable. I'm glad I was able to dine in this place and can happily recommend to other travellers. I ventured into Holi Diwali-Indian Restaurant in search of authentic Indian flavors and was absolutely thrilled by my find! This casual eatery welcomes guests with its vibrant decor and warm, friendly staff. The menu, an incredible showcase of regional Indian dishes, offers a diverse selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The Butter Chicken was divine, melting in my mouth with its perfect blend of spices, while the was fresh and flavorful. Don't forget to try their homemade naan, which took my taste buds on a culinary journey through India. This unassuming gem is a must-visit for travelers seeking an affordable (prices are very fair for Indian), yet unforgettable dining experience. Namaste! 🙏 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–25

The best Indian food!!! I have been going there since I moved to Sagres a year ago and in the past month I think pretty much every second day 😝 Super friendly staff and the food is delicious and can be customised in terms of spice, less oil or salt. Lots of vegan options, and even all other dishes can be veganised. I highly recommend: Aloo Chat as a starter Vegetable Tikka Vegetable Afghani Vegetable Lemon Curry Bhindi (okra) Aubergine Bhaji Lemon rice Vegan butter naan But everything else is fantastic as well!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Enjoy!! Service Take out

We stopped for lunch on a quiet day. We ordered the butter chicken, lamb biryani and a garlic naan, both with medium spice. The butter chicken was the favourite, with ample amounts of delicious flavoursome creamy sauce. The naan was strong with garlic and fluffy like fresh bread should be. The biryani was a grower in spice levels. It doesn't come with curry sauce on the side but it wasn't dry. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent. I loved every dish I had. I came here with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I think the the prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in this area. I would suggest trying the peshwari naan(coconut bread) and the bhengan partha (aubergine dish).the also had this attractive dishes which they put the curries in. I feel this is the best Indian restaurant in sagres. I have come here nearly 5 times just because I can't get enough of this authentic place. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Except for the super cliche name, it was a good experience. The dishes were great and pretty authentic. The papadums were a bit overpriced, given that the chutneys were sold separately. Garlic naan was very good. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

One of the most if not the best Indian restaurants I've ever been in. Staff is amazing, speaks perfect English, the food is just unbelievablely good!!! Came back twice because I couldn't get enough. We ate there 13 people and everyone was very happy! Also the prices are completely affordable (I will say even cheap compared to the quality). Came back again to Sagres just for this place. Truly amazing!

Very tasty meal perfectly balanced spice wise for us. Popadoms beautifully fresh and crispy although the chutney/dip selection at €3 seemed expensive and was a little watery and it came although we did not order it. Rice was dry and nicely fluffy. Lovely fresh coriander really came through. Very good value vino verde at €9.50 a bottle. A fixed price lunch menu would be good.
