Nice place for coffee and a pastry. Beautiful grounds. My only wish is that when you order a pie that it was heated in a convection oven not a microwave. This place is a hidden gem! The place is not easy to find unless you have friends in the area or have accidentally found it during your hunt for places to eat online. It's picturesque view makes you enjoy your meal while relaxing. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The food tastes good and the serving size is quite big. Definitely must to visit and eat in this place when you're in the area. I wouldn't mind driving to this place to grab a bite. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very slow, forgot half the order & had to be asked 3 times about it. They claim short staffed but there were at least 4 cafe staff apart from the kitchen. The scenery of this cafe is amazing and the staff were nice enough however the value for money and quality of food was sub par. We ordered the winter salad (consisted of canned unflavoured chickpeas, spinach and grated apple - no flavour or presence of high quality ingredients considering the $28 price tag). We also got a beef burger and fries which were alright however came out cold. Considering it wasn't a busy day, I don't see the reasoning for such average food. Would not recommend if you are after a high quality lunch. Much better restaurants and cafes in Arrowtown. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

A great place to stop whilst cycling the Countryside trail. No need to go off the trail! We had a late lunch and scored a table under the trees and in the shade. There are black umbrella's over the tables, but I preferred the cool natural shade. Great table service by Oliver. We chose the pasta of the day and the Akaroa salmon and salad. The salad was an amazing culinary dish that is good enough to be eaten on it's own. Not your ordinary everyday salad. A great peaceful place to relax and enjoy the greenery with no traffic noise being an added bonus. Wheelchair friendly.

We have been going to the hole in one for 15 years and it’s always been my number one recommendation to any visitor and our bnb customers. Always used to be amazing food, great prices, and consistently good. Today we found the portion sizes more like starters and much more expensive, felt quite ripped off but staff didn’t seem to want to hear our polite feedback. Also a very small menu.
