Great...great burger! Done perfect with great flavor....and probably the best onion rings I can remember having....Will definitely eat there again if we pass through the area again. Good bar food and great specials. The service is usually very good, but can be slow/inconsistent when they're busy. The only drawback is that it is extremely loud inside when they're busy. Came here for lunch on a Tuesday around noon. We had to grab our own menus because it took 10 minutes for anyone to even look at us. Once our drink orders were taken, it took our server, Madison, another 15 minutes to bring our drinks. After an additional 40 minutes of waiting for our order to be taken, we were told, “well you know you aren’t the only people in here”. Mind you, it was not busy. I ordered the blackened grilled chicken salad. What I received was plain grilled chicken. I asked if I could get it blackened and they just sprinkled the blackening seasoning over the already grilled chicken. She did not fill my drink once, and others at my table only got refills once asked. Our server was incredibly rude. The only reason she received a tip was because 20% was already added to the bill. A large group of us ate there on a Saturday night. Our waitress was very in attentive. No napkins, or silverware. One person did not get their food until everyone else was done eating.Drink refills didn’t happen until we were completely done with our dinner. The waitress told one of our party that we weren’t the only ones in the place and to stop being so snappy. if 20% wasn’t already added to the bill, there’s no way we would tip that high. Another restaurant with a great sports environment. The Ozzie Smith jersey hanging in the front of the building brought back some memories. Even growing up in Buffalo anyone who was a baseball fan was a fan of Ozzie. The French Dip was excellent as well as the fried pickles, seems to be a staple for me in my visit to St. Louis. Always a good spot for traditional sandwiches and meals while watching sports or having a cold drink. Pretty laid back with decent service. Their daily specials are great. Burgers are hand formed and nothing like any of the chains with that old time grilled taste; huge servings of all sides. They have been around for a long time and that is worth a lot today. Very much a "Missouri" Bar ! We went here for our work Xmas lunch/party and it was amazing!!! The food was good. Wished wings were crispy. Sat outside, and the waitress was giving us a few minutes to look over menu, the wait turned into 10 minutes. I had to request for the waitress and she didn't return after waiting another 5 minutes so we went inside and sat ourselves. Another waitress served us and we was pleased with her.
