Service wasn’t horrible, but the people in front that see customers on the regular is just sad. I just got my food and it came literally within seconds… normally that would be a good thing, but in this instance I have to question it because nobody knows what’s up. I just asked what goes on a sandwich and the cashier didn’t know (okay I let it slide), but the manager looking just as clueless and then doubled down on the ignorance by trying to describe the sandwich by looking at the picture. Stopped on my way home from work for breakfast. Worst breakfast I’ve ever had. I got a breakfast platter with bacon. Barely had any hash rounds, food was not hot. Ordered candied bacon snack pack. Waiting at the register for 15 minutes to place order with no one ahead of us is ridiculous. Especially when there is a line to the door. Door dash should nit be able to jump ahead of people in line (came in while we were waiting at the register) if you need help filling drive through orders hire another person. Made a stop here during a road trip. Burgers were delicious, didn’t feel too greasy and had that nice charbroiled edge. Staff was friendly and attentive even while they were rushing to handle the drive-thru. The bathroom was tidy too. Can only really knock the place for the not great state of the seating or the surfaces, many looked quite knocked-about and chipped/old. Still giving them 5 of 5. Ordered a double bacon burger combo and a super star burger combo. When I made it to the table and looked in the bag there was no fries for either meal. Went to the counter and ask for the fries and got the fries but then there was no bacon on a "BACON" burger, returned to the counter and they took the burger and gave it to the sandwich guy. He took the burger, WITH NO GLOVES ON, and touched all over it and put bacon on the sandwich and re-wraped it in a new paper like he remade it. Do better people, how would you feel if you had someone with no gloves make your food, you don't know where they been and what they've been doing. The only time I have ever been to Hardee's is for breakfast. But for some reason today I decided to try lunch. And I'm glad I did. First let me say this, the woman behind the counter was amazing. She was the only person working the registers, both drive thru and front. She handled it like a pro. She was so polite and courteous. 1010. And the food was hot and came out to me fast and they were packed. And while talking I found out it was just that sweet lady at the register and one woman preparing the food. And they were handling the lunch crowd like it was nothing. Great job ladies, YOU ARE THE GOLD STANDARD FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE..........JOB WELL DONE!!!!! 👍 👍 If you've seen any of my reviews, you know I'm not big on fast food restaurants, but if I'm in a bind and decide to grab something quick and hot, Hardee's in Belmont is my goto. First of all, Ella is amazing. She is so kind and helpful, and she knows how to run a drive-through. She keeps the line moving, unlike a lot of places now, especially the Burger Kings, especially the one at Cramerton crossroads OMG DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THAT PLACE. I don't go there anymore. Anyway, back to the pleasantries of Hardee's in Belmont. Try them out for yourself they are very quick and kind, and your food will be hot. Ella like always, YOU ROCK !!! And for you and your service, I always give you 5 stars, but as far as the food goes and that has nothing to do with Ella, I only give a 3 star grade, and that's just Hardee's as a whole.Just my personal opinion, and that basically goes for most fast food restaurants, excluding McDonald's, don't get me started on that " restaurant " I do not eat at any McDonald's whatsoever. This place is literally the worst place in Belmont NC. Terrible customer service. Extremely long wait times, and not all of them but some of their works are very rude..To top it off, it's really not clean. Honestly surprised this place is still open. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
