Small and accommodating, we had to wait awhile to get attention to be seated, but they had a table available for us (we did not have a reservation).
The cocktail was tasty and a good selection available to choose from.
Mac and cheese (my favourite) had to be ordered, it was favourable. Paired with chicken wings for starters.
Main was a burger with the spicy shrimps, couldn't pick it up and eat it all together due to the height of it all, however it filled the spot and was delicious.
A nice place to stop by and have a bite if you are in the mood for it.
Servers were friendly and helpful and paid just the right amount of attention to us.

Atmosphere was good, service was good and food was not bad, I was just disappointed with the reality vs expectation.
Ordered a burger for this big onion ring and when it arrived I thought they had the wrong order as I couldn’t see the onion ring. After careful inspection of my food I found this tiny onion ring. It’s fine if the bigger onions aren’t in season, but at least add a couple extra to make up for it.
The waitress said: “I was told we can’t add more because the ratio food x onion ring would be wrong, it’s science”.
I don’t know about science but that’s not right.

Original Legendary Burger
Atmosphere and location are both great. Items on display are typical of a HRC and great to wander and look at while waiting.
Which you'll do a lot of. Service took forever on everything from drinks to food. I felt bad watching the people at other tables sit around waiting to order their drinks or getting frustrated waiting to get/pay their bill to be able to leave. Staff is all very friendly but that's just not enough. It was practically empty inside - I cannot imagine the wait if it's busy.
Food wasn't as mediocre as I expected from a chain but the burger was overcooked and the chips close to cold on arrival.

For frequent visitors to the Hard Rock chain, the Trømso location seems a little "Unloved".
It's certainly the smallest Hard Rock that I've ever visited, it doesn't seem to host live music and the shop has a small ammount of stock.
They did serve a good selection of beers and cocktails, the venue was warm and comfortable and the new Messi-Burger was a hit 👌

Original Legendary Burger
Brand new Restaurant in Tromsø. I really love the mixture of an 120 years old building and an Hard Rock Restaurant… I am not an Architect… but I like it so much. Nice Staff and good food… Highly recommended

Spicy shrimp well over cooked and chewy.
Chips also really crispy, not much potatoe left inside.
Had to remind the waiter for our drinks as the table next to us arrived after us but had nearly finished their food by the time we got our drinks.
Seemed to favour the Norwegian
Go to Egon instead.

I have been to several hard rock cafés, and this one was food-wise rather disappointing.
The service was great, the waiter was very polite and friendly.
The restaurant was rather empty on a Friday evening, I think there were like 3 more tables, next to us. We booked our table, but it was absolutely not necessary.
The food was disappointing, the fries were cold, the meat was dry and the burgers were not the best.
We mentioned it to the waiter, and they did exchange our food, but even then, it wasn't the best.
The waiter offered a 10% discount as an apology, that was very nice of him, but with a bill that is far more expensive compared to other restaurants in tromso, it was just a small matter here.
Experience: it's not the best. Hard Rock cafe is absolutely cool for the merchandise they have though. We bought a shirt! 😁
Would I recommend others to eat here? No, I wouldn't.
Would I come here again? No, I would rather spend my money elsewhere in tromso. There are many other places that have real good food, for half the price.

visited for my boyfriend's birthday (and mine a week prior) while on a joint birthday holiday in Tromso, brilliant service, treated well after we informed them of our birthdays, though excellent service prior to this! friendly chatty staff. special thanks to kitchen manager and to Lemet on bar!
