Not only should Avenida Kukulkan be visited, but also Hard Rock Cafe. This bar offers you to try tasty monkfish, rolls and hamburgers. Order good brownies, gelato and berliner. Most likely, you'll return to Hard Rock Cafe later to taste delicious margaritas, draft beer or cordial. A lot of visitors order great cortado, americano or milkshakes. At this place, clients can celebrate any event: a wedding, anniversary or birthday party. Many visitors find that the waitstaff is gracious at this place. Spectacular service is something that people highlight in their comments. Here you will pay reasonable prices. At this spot, guests can enjoy the homey ambiance and modern decor. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this bar deserved 4.4.

I was excited to go to the hard Rock Cafe as I am a music nerd. As far as the food goes it was very sub par. 3 of the items we wanted weren't available and it was only 1 pm. Us and another family of 8 were the only people there and they sat us right beside them. The food was not good at all, way over-priced as well as the drinks. As far as memorabilia goes there wasn't a lot to see which was very disappointing. We waited almost 20 minutes for our bill after finishing our meal. Again there was only 2 groups in the restaurant. The drinks did not come in the "traditional" Hard Rock cups and there was no option to buy one either. It feels like this restaurant has been forgotten about by the chain and not a very good representation of the brand. Oh yeah, the brownie sundae desert looks good in the menu but was actually just a dry piece of chocolate cake.

We only went into the merchandise shop, it had a good atmosphere and a good selection to choose from. Standard Hard Rock prices. The gentleman that served us in the shop was a delight, so cheery and chatty, which we loved. However, if you plan on visiting, beware of the people outside the shopping plaza near Coco Bongos, we got swarmed by people in costumes and got told "take picture, take picture" as they started posing, so we started taking pictures with OUR phones, then they demanded "now pay, give us money" we had to give over about 500 pesos each to get them off our backs, even then they were asking for more. Not anything to do with Hard Rock, but that's the reason I have put down the stars on location, which is a shame for the business.
The waitress was great, Kimberly. The strawberry lemonade was amazing! Now, the food was not nice… I don’t know exactly what happened, but the French fries were tasting different and the chicken tender wasn’t good. The only thing that save our night was the French’s fries with cheese and the waitress was outstanding, she asked about any celebration and gave us ice cream and a shot, after we pay the check, she sat with us and shared her experience living in Cancun. Thank you!
Stopped by for a quick snack so ordered the nachos. It’s hard to mess up nachos but they were using bacon-and-brown-sugar-flavored canned beans, probably as a substitute for whatever they’d normally use. Not only were the beans sweet but the sauce soaked into the rest of the nachos so the whole dish was overly sweet and soggy. Service was at least great, very friendly and attentive.

Most expensive bad food we've ever had in our lives. But the service was good. As others have mentioned the decor and environment feels dated. My son is a pro musician and he was really disappointed with the vibe. The booths are TINY - 4 of us adults couldn't fit, so they moved us to a tiny table. Despite the restaurant being empty, when we asked for 2 tiny tables together for more space the host looked at us like we were crazy. So we crammed in, surrounded by empty tables. One of us got quite sick after eating here. One of our dishes tasted very bad and we had to send it back - which we almost never do. BUT the staff were good and we all agreed the service was good.

Very disappointed with the experience. Food were priced like competition in the area, but drinks were more than twice as much. Ordered the smash burger, but got burgers with 2 preprocessed thin paddies like you find in a BigMac, and the overpriced draft beer was served in a bottle? As the resturent were nearly empty we quickly finished our meal and left the restaurant after around 35 minutes. Service was fine, but DISHONEST. when presented with the bill I was given the option for 15% or 20% service charge, and I selected 15%, which would have been $246 mxn, but a round $500 tip was typed into the credit card machine and I did not notice until this morning - there is no way you can do that by mistake. I normally like Hard Rock Cafes, but highly recommend you stay away from this one in Cancun.

Ordered 3 burgers as a family and they were all terrible. Definitely doesn't deserve the price. Complained to the server because nobody in our party was able to finish their food, he didn't even say sorry let alone considering a refund.
Really fantastic holiday - hotel has everything you could want. Quality of food, drinks, staff etc all really great. I would say it’s more of an older children and family, or friends holiday - venue is focused on fun and music and drinking etc rather than peace and quiet and relaxation. Lots of party animals so can be a bit jarring when they come home from the in house night club in the wee hours and you are fast asleep. Hot tub in the room was a nice surprise but a bit grubby. Don’t think the jets are cleaned inbetween customers. But the actual rooms were cleaned very well each day. Entertainment team were really great when you wanted to join in. Special Mention to Gio in the Italian restaurant “Ciao”, really excellent service, attentive without being overbearing and very personable. Give that woman a raise!!!! Customer base was lovely but all very friendly. Only had two major grumbles, first would be the restaurant process, although the food and service was really top notch, its first come first serve with about 30 tables in each. They are all sit down A-la-carte so you can order 4 plus courses if you want to. Which is great once you are there and in a not busy time, but advice from staff is if you aren’t there at 5.30/6pm then just do room service or go to Frida which is the Mexican buffet. That’s fantastic but after 3 or 4 visits it’s nice to try something else. If you miss the early slot for dinner you get a buzzer which takes 1-3 hours to get seated depending on how many course the previous families ordered. Lunch is easy as they have daily dish of the day paella to tacos etc by the pool and then burgers, pizza and hot dogs on demand. Favourite experience was Japanese, closely followed by Italian and Steak. Maintenance team, cleaning team, Pool staff and bar staff worked so hard! So many of them and they were so diligent. Couldn’t ask for more effort towards that side of the business. Second grumble was the pool beds, I know it’s a common issue around the world but if you weren’t there at 7.30 then there simple weren’t enough to go around which isn’t how you want to be on your holidays. No one wants to set an alarm. Lots of people didn’t have somewhere to be and I think for the price we pay, that’s the bare minimum of what you should expect. All in all great holiday, great venue, would I return? yes I would!
Eating on the patio. A crowd that gathered commandeered the excesses chairs at my table and no problem. Until the balloon girl went out of her way to slide a chair up to my table and use it as her work station. I guess paying inflated prices and looking like a paying customer wasn't enough. I guess I needed to be treated as invisible and find myself in the quarters of the employees. Thanks for a great experience. Maybe you should have given me the employee discount??
We ate at a few Hard Rock Cafe as we travel a lot (Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Santiago de Chile, Bali, Singapore, New York, Washington... ) and I think those are enough to say we know how a classic Hard Rock Cafe SHOULD be. Moreover we order the exact same dish everytime so, once more, we know how the dish SHOULD be. So we book online, arriving with a zen attitude because we know what to expect, and that as always it will be good. My god we were about to be disappointed. First of all, the music was NOT AT ALL what it was supposed to be. We don't come to a restaurant named "Hard Rock Cafe" to listen to techno / clubbing music. The service was exceptionally long, and it was all the more long regarding the fact that the place was almost EMPTY. When we finally got the chicken fajitas we always order, we were disappointed, seeing that the quantity of chicken was reduced by half (no exaggeration, really by half) comparing to what we had in every single Hard Rock Cafe we went before. But still, the food was good. So on average the dinner was still okay. But then we got the addition : so pricey !! We paid more thant what we paid in Times Square, that is to say how pricey it is. Once again, with a plate divided by two. Totally not worth the price. AND THEN, the cherry on the pie : Kimberly, the waitress who brought us two drinks, one plate (the other was brought by someone else) and who didn't even cleared the table (done by another colleague) had the nerve to ask for a twenty percent tip, and MAKING US BELIEVE IT WAS COMPULSORY. Wrong music, very slow service, a plate half the size, but a price above others, and still she has got the nerve to tell us a 20% tip is compulsory. OMG. Let me tell you Kimberly, if the day comes you do your job properly, you still won't have a tip if you lie to us. And not saying goodbye, which is childish and pathetic, won't make us think you deserve a tip. (And when you read other reviews apparently the establishment is customary of that... You really should put yourself in question). Best regards.
