Hana Garden is a cozy restaurant nestled in a Korean-centric plaza. Upon entering, you're immediately enveloped in a local and traditional atmosphere—not the fancy, modern, or fusion styles. The food here is what I would describe as "homestyle," lacking surprises in a good way. While the galbitang doesn't utilize the best cuts of meat and the seafood pancake falls somewhat short of expectations, and personally, I'm not a fan of the jjajangmyeon here, it's worth noting that in Reno, where dining options are somewhat limited, this Korean restaurant stands out. For that reason, I'd give it an extra star. Moreover, the prices are relatively reasonable. Overall, I'd recommend giving it a try after a full day of snow sports, especially before heading out for an exciting night in Reno's casinos. Casual Korean dining, we've been here 4-7 different times. Local family owned business. My grilled mackerel has been perfectly cooked 2 times so far and lightly seasoned, the way it should be. And it came with a bowl of spicy tofu which was perfect on a cool night. Stone bibimbap hot pot, delicious, light and tasty. Give this locals place a try. I just wish it was in South Reno instead. Very yummy and fresh food! The portion sizes are very generous. The atmosphere is great and smells amazing. There is a lot of variety on the menu and always new dishes to try. I cant wait to come back and try something new. Truly an underrated restaurant in Reno. The food and the customer service was amazing. I can’t say what I ordered because I don’t know the spelling.. but it was delicious! The food was so full of flavor and that’s how it should be anywhere you go. Thank you Hana garden!

Don't let location and straightforward interior fool you. This place offers the best Korean soups and dishes in Reno. There's a family feels and homey atmosphere to agree with. Real good Korean treat.

I served 5 tours in Korea with the US Army and find the food here is great Korean food! I highly recommend this restaurant. I am only reviewing the Donkatsu that I ordered for my son. Unfortunately he was not able to eat it as it was burnt and it seems like it was cooked twice. I tasted a little and the meat was gummy and burnt. How can you send an order that you know isn’t right? Unacceptable and very disappointing. It cost $18.99 + tax. Very bad!!
