We had a lovely meal here tonight. The decor is very unique. It's like you stepped back in time. We ate inside but sneaked a peek on the terrace, and the views were beautiful. I'm really happy I came to this restaurant. It's a tourist area, and often tourist areas have poor service. Here, the service was excellent and I felt like a valued customer. They had a menu item that was a sample of various Mardin dishes. I wish I could remember the names of all the items, but I got to try many different things - everything was superb and of high quality. They were generous with the meat, as well as side dishes, and I ate well. I asked for a Mardin dessert and they brought me a wonderful spiced pudding. I would definitely come back. The service was excellent and attentive, they had just enough English to help me make a good choice on the menu and it was delicious!
