it was a stop before going back home. is recommended by alot of people to stopby. nasi lemak, nasi dagang was okay. what i like is thier gulai ayam. it mixed well with the rice. and chicken was tender. with keropok, add in the texture and flavour. thier toasted bread was super good too. im not a fan of the variant of glutinous rice. so i have no comment on them. My second visit to this place and overall the coffee was nice and the toasted bun wasn't too bad. Worth the drive all the way there? I remembered it to be better but I might probably visit the other branch in town instead. The overall place felt as if it wasn't managed properly with empty shelves and the floor wasn't cleaned properly. A far cry from my last visit here. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

Came when it was closing time but the waiter still greeted us warmly and recommended takeouts. Ordered the iced koslo - coffee + milo - and iced cham c, and the toasted bun with kaya & butter - simply delicious! And super affordable too! The interior deco brought in nostalgia of the kopitiam's 80-years old past.

Hai Peng Taman Chukai is a great place for breakfast. It is open from 7.30 am to 12 am every day except friday. The menu that worth trying there is the toasted bun with kaya and butter. You can enjoy it with black coffee. The waiter there was super friendly and recommended me the top sales menu. The western food there are just alright but not very delicious. The interior deco brought in nostalgia of the kopitiam's in the 80s. It is worth to try it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Overall, the foods are good and excellent. A part from that, they have to train their staff about service. Very bad service and not welcomin... awful customer service Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Came at 4pm. There were not many customers. Ordered roti bakar, and one with the egg, a bowl of mi sup, a latte, iced milo, and iced lemon tea. Kinda yum. Though the iced milo somewhat taste like chocolate drink. Service was fast. Price wise-some menus are a bit expensive to me maybe?(husband said so as well). A plate of fried noodle costs rm12. The normal menu kopi was just alright - kind of watered down, whereas the Vietnamese coffee was thick like how I like it. Toast buns were OK..., but the kaya spread could have been more generous as I could hardly taste it. Biggest let down was the Nasi Dagang as the kuah was watery and lacking in taste. Location is good with parking. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast
Parking is a bit of a problem. Old school deco. Calm surrounding. Good coffee. Garlic fries is something different, tasty. Price is okay. Overall, recommended.
This is an offshoot of the original Hai Peng Kopitiam. Apparently owned by one of the brothers of the original, the coffee is alright and the bread, sourced from the original. The interior is also tastefully done. Unfortunately the food choice and the taste of the food isn't as good as the original. If you were travelling from afar just to try the Hai Peng Kopitiam, you are better off going to the original.
