The most delicious Spanish restaurant I have ever tried in Taiwan Though it’s in the small town, but the chef and his wife did very good serve on food for customers They have the best paella in central Taiwan, Anyone read this comment should have try it!
One of the most authentic paella in Taiwan, totally worth the waiting.
Café la Luz & Sal is a great place to spend an evening and have a great authentic Spanish meal, prepared by the chef himself and served by laobaniang. Food is so good that we drive for 40 minutes one way just to have a meal there. You can order from the menu, which has a good selection of Tapas and Paellas and main courses and deserts, or if you plan ahead and make a reservation, just ask for a "hidden meal", which is always something great. P.S. If you are a coffee lover, try their espresso. Not many in the greater vicinity that can compare (it's is strong coffee though, so be prepared).
Talking about Ambience it gives you a spanish cozy cafe vibes with spanish intrumental music which i really loved. I just entered the cafe for a hot chocolate which was not as expected but not bad to criticize about. I would definitely recommend you to go for it if you are near Nantou.
Booking required. The owner is warm and kind, foods are outstanding. Ingredients are very fresh and high quality. Definitely worth a try!

真的覺得很不好意思... 當天才用電話預約... 如果大家要來品嚐的話,一定要在FB的粉絲專頁私訊預約,還有盡量在兩天前預約比較好~ 老闆娘真的超客氣也很詳細的跟我們介紹餐點,麵包真的好吃到我想回訪的程度!!!😍 然後今日特餐的煙燻鮭魚沙拉根本好吃到不行🫠 很喜歡有點鹹度搭配新鮮的生菜及水果真的很爽口❤️ 最後海鮮燉飯的部分,份量很大口感也有別於我們認知的義式燉飯是濕軟的口感,而是真的到鍋巴的米芯口感很特別,海鮮也保有海的鹹鮮! 期待下次能嘗試其他不同的口味~~ Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes 南瓜濃湯 法國麵包佐油醋醬

老闆都是當天採買最新鮮的食材, 道地的西班牙料理 沙拉搭配油醋醬還有堅果~開胃 蝦球Q彈,海鮮燉飯裡面的淡菜、蛤蜊、鮮蝦、花枝圈也很新鮮,鍋底還會有鍋巴喔 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $600–800 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

事先提早一週在臉書私訊留言訂位,在現場時聽到電話鈴一直響,但是老闆和老闆娘都忙到沒有時間接聽電話,所以私訊留言訂位是最方便的方式。 點餐海鮮燉飯,老闆娘會提醒:西班牙燉飯和義大利燉飯不同,西班牙燉飯偏乾偏硬,因為在西班牙吃過的燉飯口感不一,不見得都是偏乾偏硬,也有軟爛口感,但是自己就是偏愛偏硬口感的人,所以偏硬很可以,但是偏乾這點就見仁見智,加上檸檬汁之後的清香是覺得還可以接受,越咀嚼時的乾香味出來,可能不見得每個人都會喜愛,但是海鮮:蝦子、蛤蜊、魚肉、花枝很可以,不會過乾。海鮮燉飯推薦! 海鮮燉飯有附加南瓜濃湯和麵包,麵包酥脆好吃,沾醬是橄欖油加巴薩米醋,但是油醋比例建議醋多些,橄欖油少些;南瓜濃湯偏清爽,可以。 餐後單品咖啡有哥倫比亞和耶加雪夫,甜點巴斯克乳酪蛋糕淋店家自製的玫瑰葡萄醬汁,普普。 店裡是兩人小店,而且本來燉飯就是會花費時間製作的餐點,所以燉飯點餐後要半小時才會上來,趕時間的人會不適合。下次有機會想試試不同的燉飯!
