Been coming to this place every time we are in Latvia for the past 7 years. It never disappoints.
Good food, good prices, good service, Menus are translated to English and it's a very nice atmosphere here. Least and maybe most important, good beer with good options for snacks.

Took some interesting dish with beans. Was very nice with beer. Very interesting meniu. The 'vibe' and the way that reception/barmen treated us was very pleasant.

The food is always very fresh and tasty, the staff is extra nice and welcoming, I recommend that you drink a few “Užavas” beers, never disappoints. Cheers!

We visited Jūrmala in February, hoping to find a nice restaurant at the beach for sunset. Unfortunately everything was closed down due to it being off-tourism-season. We started driving and by accident found this place, looking local and small. The service was nice and fast. She did her absolute best to help translate the menu and made recommendations. The plates were super full and delicious! Great latvijan kitchen and cutest atmosphere and look.
Expected more of this. The staff was not impolite, but not friendly at all. No smile, no coversation or welcoming feeling when coming here. Just working as fast and effective as possible, so it seemed.
Our meals didnt come at the same time. My husband finished his dish before my chicken came. Not very professional or at all the meaning of having dinner together...
My husband had the hamburger, but the bun was so old and hard that it wasnt eatable. The burger itself tasted good, but the bread was terrible.
My chicken was okay, but the fries that i ordered were forgotten. I had to asked for them. Grilled veggies were fine.
In general, i would not recommend eating here... it was a disappointment.
Kur family liked it verta much! All the dishes are tasty and not expensive. In Jurmala we have staied for 4 days. 3 of them we are at "Prosecco grillbars"!
