The woodlands.. American cookie company upstairs location.. make the cutest cookie cakes. We get one every birthday. Always nice when I pick up. They are generous with frosting. Been getting cookie cakes here for years.

First let's say the guy in attached photo was RUDE!.
Another guy was helping us ( BEFORE
the tall rude guy even showed up) and mentioned buy 4 get one free cookie. I asked if it was all the cookies he said yes. DID NOT mention any acceptions.
So as we ordered he then said oh no not that one, it's not part of it. I said okay so I guess the decorated ones are also not included either. The tall rude guy pipes up and said that's what he said , I said he did not mention that to me at all. TRG says: I was standing right here when he said it. ( Pull the dang cameras!)
I told him no, you weren't even here when he greeted us. Then he wanted to argue the fact. I was done, give me the couple dang cookies loose the extra money you would've got from the buy 4. I was livid to the point I could not talk.
HE IS AWEFUL AT GUEST SERVICE!

I didn't want anything free- Guest service needs to be fixed. An employee should never argue with a guest. I don't need an explanation of sales. I would've purchased all the items we wanted if he was not Rude.

The employee who helped me went above and beyond! I had no idea what to get on the cake and he freestyled it and it came out amazing and all under 10 minutes!

Ordered online, which was quick and painless. Pickup was fast and easy! Customer service was great! Cookie cake was delicious and exactly what I ordered! I loved that the cookie wasn't too hard, but it was still soft, which is 10 times better. I love how the manager followed up to ensure everything was what I expected. That is going above and beyond, and I respect that. I will definitely be ordering from this location again!

The upstairs location saved the day! A delivery service messed up my order and delivered the wrong cookie cake, but the owner Christina and manager personally called me to sort this out and ensured my brother received the right cookie cake in time. They were extremely friendly, professional, thorough, patient, and went above and beyond to fix the mixup. Christina followed up after the delivery to ensure the cookie cake was delivered and that I got my money back from the delivery service. They also gave a dozen free cookies because of the mix up even though it wasn’t their fault. I will continue using them and was EXTREMELY satisfied with their business. Thank you for being amazing and such hard workers!

I placed an order for a cookie cake for July 8th. When I placed the order I explained it was for a little girls Spider-Man party and asked if they could do some blue and red icing with maybe some webs on it. It was beyond my expectations! It was so well thoughtfully decorated! My niece loved 🥰 it!! GAC nailed it!
Ordered our son's cookie cake from this location. The cookie cake was decorated nicely and freshly made. The customer service was outstanding!
BONUS...received a text message a few weeks later from Christina (manager) to check on service and quality. This is amazing customer service. I'll be back soon.

I am so happy with my order. I added a note asking for them to add a lego man to their fishing if possible and it turned out so cute. They did charge an additional $4 for it and I tipped the cake artist as well. Of course the taste is always excellent but my little one requested a lego man fishing and they made it happen.
Update: Normally I would give this place 5 stars, but I've changed it to four due to my most recent purchase. I was disappointed. The decorator clearly messed up when writing "Maddie" and simply wrote over the initial icing, which is what I'm most upset about. Also, the spacing of all of the words is totally off, leaving the letters towards the left really spaced out, while the ones on the right are squeezed together. I'm also assuming the spacing issue is why the & was left out between Dillon and Josh. Knowing how much pride the new owner takes in ensuring quality, I'm sure they would have fixed it if I had asked, but unfortunately I didn't have time to wait, as I was on my way to meet my family with the cake. I'm normally really pleased with the quality of the cookie cakes here, so this one was disappointing and didn't live up to their usual standards.

I was thrilled with how this turned out!! I did my order online outside business hours, so I wasn't sure if they'd be able to draw an image. I simply requested a cactus with pink flowers if possible, and was so pleasantly surprised with how they interpreted my request and how great it looked! Everyone who saw it commented on how cute it was. I appreciate the employees putting in the effort to make it even cuter than I'd hoped for. The girl who gave it to me was grinning ear to ear when she opened the box, which made me feel like she was proud of how it turned out, too. (Side note - I added the sprinkles to the cactus after I picked it up). The cookie was also delicious; I'll definitely be ordering here again!
Cannot say thank you enough to The Great American Cookie in the Woodlands mall. This cookie cake saved my relationship. I wont sugar coat it, I was in pipping hot water and messed up bad. Luckily, the excellent pipping on this cake made everything better! S/o to the owner, Christina, for following up with me VIA text to make sure everything went well! I will definitely be ordering another cake from here the next time I mess up in a relationship!
