We chose the Ribic restaurant in Ptuj to celebrate our 24th Valentine's Day. We spent a very pleasant 4 hours there. 3 musicians and singers accompanied us during this wonderful gourmet meal. All the dishes without exception were an explosion of subtle flavors, research in the presentation of the dishes and the ingredients, and wines judiciously chosen to accompany each of the five dishes on the menu. A real moment of happiness. The welcome is always very warm and the servers never fail to give explanations about the dishes presented. Five visits since 2023 and still just as much fun. Atmosphere was nice. Needs a few upgrades inside. Outside garden is beautiful with great views of river Drava. Service was great, polite and with a nice dose of humor. Came to this fabulous restaurant for lunch today. Best thing to do is make reservations for lunch, as it gets quite busy even on a weekday. Our server was not that fluent in English but did help us with some Slovenian words from the menu. I had the fries with fried chicken, it was so good! One of the best places in Slovenia to have lunch or just a drink. I know it’s not custom to leave a tip for the waiter, but I did. He deserved it. I highly recommend this place. Free wifi, pet friendly, kid friendly and wheelchair accessible. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It was a wild catch on our side to stop here! We were super pleasantly surprised by the service and the food! Really delicious and nicely served / plated dishes. I can only recommend, it takes only 5 minutes from the highway to reach the place, and one won’t regret. What a wonderful place to have lunch! Very friendly staff! An ideal place to get off the motorway for lunch. The food is of very high quality and fresh. There is a children's wish and highchairs are available. A place we enjoyed coming back to after 4 years. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

One of the best fish restaurants in the area. The location is amazing with a beautiful view of the sava river. The food tasted really good as well! A little pricier than basic restaurants in Ptuj but for the quality, comfort and location it’s really not expensive. Will definitely come back here! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

The restaurant has a pleasant location with great view, kind staff - and the food is excellent. We've visited the place on our way to our vacation in Slovenia, but we liked it a lot so we decided to stop on our way back as well. Highly recommended. :)

High quality food with a great view, right on the river. We had fish soup (delicious white creamy soup with three kinds of roe), zander baked on top of tagliatelle, grilled squid with fried potato chunks and grilled vegetables, and gratinated cottage cheese struklji with mashed potatoes, green cauliflower and carrot souffle. Dessert was brownies served with citrus icecream, cookie crumbles and assorted fruit. Enjoyed everything very much.

One of the best fish restaurant I’ve ever been. Octopus salad nice and refreshing. Selection of fishes to share impressive. Good place to stop over on your holiday route to the see side of Adriatic. Service - nothing to complain, straight Balkan style and humor. Cheers guys!
