A wonderful little place right on the water that's been family-operated for over 40 years. It's one of the very few non-touristy, non-snobby places found in Pirano. After a number of very disappointing meals in Pirano, it was a breath of fresh air. We had the mixed grilled plate, featuring perfectly cooked, incredibly seasoned grilled bass and bream, with a side of some of the best home fries I've had anywhere. The food is home-cooked, always-fresh fish that they get from a local Pirano fisherman twice a week. The parents work as the chefs and the son and the rest of the family work the floor. Honest prices for the quality of the catch. This place is the real deal. Cannot recommend enough. The seafood that is served is clearly first line, top shelf, just superb. The little 'however' is in the nature of the small family shop - service is friendly but unskilled, with poor language skills... also, plating could see improvements. But I will stress again, the food tastes amazing! Recommended if food taste is all you care about - in that case, very highly.

Small restaurant with lovely kitchen. The place is very familial led by an old lady, who is very kind. Delicous foods, good portions. Fish and meat both nice. Recommended to book a day before, usually is full.

Great local cousine, family run business, super tender and juicy Pleskavica, nice choice of fresh fish. You pay a little extra, but the food is amazing, staff are very friendly...if you get lucky you might even spot some dolphins out in the sea. Closed on Tuesdays.

We arrived very late at the restaurant and the owners have been super nice and served us with a big smile. We took a plate of grilled fish and it was just amazing! The service was kind and warm. We will surely come back again!

The best local restaurant. Homemade delicious meals, all prepared and served by family that runs the business. We went there twice and would go even more if we stay longer in Piran. Thank you for hosting us so well!

How did this place get 4.8 stars???? Must be gamed somehow. I was embarrassed to have taken my group to such a tourist rip off. The food was very ordinary and some dishes were very overpriced. The waiter was rude. The cheese platter was 5 pieces of white cheese on a plate for 11€ - I mean make an effort! A little more care and the place could be okayish. If you stay in Piran, you have to visit this family restaurant. The food is perfect, everything is super fresh, the view is spectacular 🙌 and the che cecapcici was the best that I have in 30 years! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
