Alluring Ambience, great smiles fabulous service and wonderful food to boot. Tucked off small street, however there is nothing small about the taste. What I truly appreciated for once in a very long time I didn’t have to get my own salt out, this was most refreshing. Our food came out hot and fast and was finger licking good. I had the chicken wings, which burst with flavour popping all over your tastebuds. It hit all the right notes and so well balanced with, sweet, sour, salty and a pop of acid. Be prepared to eat with your fingers and truly enjoy the whole experience. Best of all while the costing had a slight crunch the chicken remained moist and succulent. The nuances were sublime, I didn’t realise that such a tiny wing could pack such a punch of flavour. Highly recommend X10. Super service for our foodies group. Absolutely love the flavours around the table. My favourite were mussels. Their flesh looked soft and tasted great. Another great thing is electronic ordering device. Love the innovation in hospitality. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently ate at Go Street on Gill Street in New Plymouth. Slightly tucked away, it is worth hunting it out and supporting a local eatery. Committed to being modern and progressive, Go Street has embraced new technology with its order-at-the-table devices. Simply select it on the iPad provided or use your phone. While some of us slightly older folk tend to prefer a menu we can touch, there is no doubt that electronic ordering is the way to go. It frees up staff. Having worked in the hospitality industry for years, I remember too often standing with pen poised (or my mind ready for some of the upper echelon places I worked where we had to memorise the order) while an indecisive patron deliberated on whether she would have the sauteed chicken or the lamb mignon. Oh, and what side will I have! Meanwhile, you are envisaging the plates ready on the pass to bring to table 10 who have been waiting patiently. All the while ensuring you are smiling politely. The decor is funky with colour and lots of nicknacks to draw you attention should your dining partner wax lyrical and get tiresome. The restaurant is sizable so if you are there early there are plenty of seating options and something to make the most of whatever the weather might throw at you in Taranaki. While it has held the prize as the sunniest town in New Zealand for several years running, it was raining on the day I ate there. The food is touted as American and it delivers on that. From the classic American burgers to the ribs, or crispy chicken and waffles to wings. The American burger has all the classic flavours you love with gherkins, bacon, cheese, lettuce and onions with a piquant relish. This was accompanied with some great fries. For those who don’t like the gherkins, or pickles, you can easily remove them but it’s time you grew up. A burger really needs the sharpness the pickle provides to balance the flavour. The wings were sweet and sticky, just the way you love them and served with a puncture sauce. For the life of me I don’t know what a puncture sauce is, and some ferreting around in Google resulted in nothing but they were tasty nonetheless. While I would have loved a bit more of a flavour hit in some of the dishes like the Makhani Chicken, it is all flavoursome and dependable nourishment that you will come away feeling well-fed. Go Street’s Makhani Chicken introduced itself to my senses as it arrived at the table. Infused with spices and herbs, I particularly enjoyed the sweet taste of the red peppers. Plated alongside coleslaw and chips, the chicken was tender and juicy. All the food presented to our group came out hot and within a remarkably short time from sitting. Service is definitely a strong point for Go Street’s hospitality team. The place is clean and tidy with a lovely background ambience. As the menu lends itself to all ages and taste buds, I will definitely visit again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely amazing!!! Couldn't fault anything. I didn't think I was very hungry so ordered extra starters instead of a main, and they were so good I had to order more. Awesome service, delicious kai, and drinks were spot on. Will definitely be back. We choose our food by our eyes, firstly what we read and then by what we see. This afternoon l had a dining experience with my fellow foodie friends at Go Street. We were presented with a variety of delicious food each dish with its own flavour profile. My personal favourite would have to be the Waffle Some. The dish was a perfect blend of flavours, with sweetened mascarpone cheese, Bacon and juicy chicken which is crumbed creating a textural experience with the addition of swirls of maple syrup and another red syrup which had a hint of raspberry flavour. This dish made for a truly delightful experience. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was not our first choice (the place we’d intended to go was fully booked) but this was an excellent experience all-around. A sign on the door said they were short-staffed due to illness and asked for patience, but we couldn’t tell it from the superior service we received. We enjoyed our beers and delicious fish and chips, as well as our server’s sense of humor.

Large interesting venue. Limited Vegetarian options. Colourful 🌈 far from boring Salad with variety of textures and ingregients ✅️. Some at table wanted more dressing. My preference is less/none or on side. Tasty salty, smooth Risotto balanced with my added black pepper. Good chips and wedges. Always important anywhere. Also only one milk choice so long black for me which was a great coffee! 11 30 Sunday our table of 8 only customers. On a rainy day of three in a row. I enjoy quieter spaces. So I enjoy less crowds. There is slight traffic noise from open door. Decor interesting whichever space you choose. Dining area or the side seperated by counter - bar area with high table and stools and TV. Great for snacks and drinks. Also an outdoor seating with Umbrellas, where the smokers were last visit. Lots unique to look at pictures and decore. American theme menu. I've been forgetting to mention wifi available. Important for me as often taking myself out. Added to this is an option to order thru App from table. However is linked to cc. So no go for me. I would prefer order app - pay counter. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Nachos
