This cafe is great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming. The bakery is great. The coffee was great as well.
I have not found a comparable coffee/bakery in the area.

There croissants 🥐 and toasted sandwiches🥪 are also amazing, but the coffee is where it is at 👌.

The manager, Francesca and staff are always friendly and smiling. Always go out of their way to give you what you need. I have been to the other Georges in east rand and there is no comparison. Alphen Park is by far the best store there is.

The place I recently visited was a cozy little cafe in the heart of the Alphen Park . From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was charming and yet classic, with just the right amount of character. The Coffee gets a 10/10 The flavor, how it feels on your tongue, the sweetness from the milk. I could go on and on, but when these factors come together in harmony, you cannot deny, it's magic. Over the years, I have drunk a lot of coffee. From petrol stations to specialty third-wave coffee, I have tasted both good and bad. and the the customer service was outstanding well done to Francesca who is the ultimate hostess. Excellent selection of donuts, pastries and cupcakes. If you love sweet treats, you need to visit.

Had the extra breakfast was delicious. Service was on point. Also got some home made pies for take away that are fantastic. A lovely place for a break fast or light lunch.

I had the most delightful experience at this bakery! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked goods enveloped me in pure bliss. The selection of pastries, bread, and cakes was truly impressive, and each item I tried was an absolute masterpiece.
The croissants were flaky and buttery, just like you'd find in a Parisian café. Their artisanal bread had the perfect crust and flavour. The coffee was incredible and full of flavor.
The staff was warm and welcoming, always ready to offer recommendations and answer any questions. It's evident that the bakers and staff here are passionate about their craft, and it shines through in every bite.
The service was amazing with our food coming quickly.

I have only just discovered this awesome bakery! Being Portuguese I remember my Gran making Bolo de Caco at home when I was a little kid and since then have searched and searched for a place that makes this bread the way "Avó used to" and until now i had failed. Thank Goodness for George's Alphen Park. Yesterday I was transported back to being 5 years old again! I cannot even put into words how awesome their Bolo de Caco is. For anyone who knows this particular bread and those who are curious go buy it, you will not be sorry. I also bought some pies and can i just say the pepper steak pie is to die for! Im so impressed with George's Alphen Park and so thankful to them. My only regret is not finding them sooner and possibly the expansion of my waist line now that I have.
