My wife and I are absolutely in love with this resort.! Super chic and ultra private sums things up best I think . The food was to die for as well. You must try the tomato carpaccio and some of the best churros on the planet! We even had a chance to chat with the head chef, who is from Rome, by the way. This place is very eco friendly . They produce their own water and serve it in glass bottles, not plastic and have a huge organic garden as well, so your food truly was farm to table. Our room was so amazing. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at any hotel or resort and the outdoor shower was an absolute favorite. Ocean views and the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore made for pleasant days and evenings. We even managed to gaze at the stars which were plentiful and clearly visible. Our private infinity pool was heated and we enjoyed a fabulous couples massage with aroma therapy & hot rock treatment. We were happy this resort isn’t a time share & the super friendly staff really added to the pleasantries. We will be back for sure, as this will now be our go to place going forward. Can’t wait to bring some friends along next time. A true no-brainer choice!

I typically do not write reviews but feel that it may be helpful to add a perspective here that I myself would have appreciated before visiting. This resort had been on my radar since before COVID. I had wanted to visit before it was acquired by Hyatt and I traveled here in May of this year with a friend - we often go on wellness getaways together and decided to try Rancho Pescadero this time. The marketing of the resort plays up wellness. However, many of the expected options were quite limited (especially complimentary ones) and the gym was rudimentary. I will say that the yoga instructor was great, the food was quite good as well and the grounds with the garden were lovely. The sunsets were great. That is the best I can really say. There are no indoor dining options and no TVs anywhere. I like to make the choice myself whether I want to watch something or not. When we checked in and were shown to our room, we were immediately disappointed with the view - we had paid extra for an ocean front room and it was really more of a hill view with only a bit of ocean visible in the distance. When we asked for other room options, we were told that there are very limited options for rooms with double beds. It felt incongruous for a property marketing itself as a wellness retreat - perhaps their target audience was not for two friends traveling together? We were shown one room that we liked but then we were told it actually wasn't available after we returned to our room to pack. How can a resort that is marketing wellness not be able to satisfy better accommodation options for two women traveling together? We also had problems with the A/C in our room making strange sounds - we made that known at the front desk two days in a row and it was never fixed. I had to sleep with earplugs. At this price point, I found the responsiveness of the management and their reactions to issues to be less than satisfactory and I honestly could not get past that feeling the entire time I was there. The manager Henar told me this was the first time she got this kind of feedback. I felt like our concerns were dismissed. To be fair, we had flowers and chocolates sent to our rooms and a small credit was given but it represented such a negligible amount relative to the bill as to almost have been worthless. Ultimately, we were stuck with a room that did not meet expectations. We were also overcharged for our transportation to/from the airport. They have bigger issues to deal with now with the tragic deaths of guests, but I could not have recommended this resort even without this recent news. I had provided all of this feedback to Hyatt in a survey upon our return and no one ever followed up. Disappointing experience, at best.

If you’re looking for privacy, attention to detail and the best food, Rancho Pescadero is the place for you. We love to travel and this has become one of our favorite hotels. Andres spoiled us our entire stay and made everything possible. Special thanks to Daniel, Salvador, Elliott and Alejandro who also made our stay really special. Chef Sandro is amazing and I wouldn’t miss Sunday brunch, you’re in for a treat. We stayed in a beachfront villa and we would definitely stay there again, it’s stunning! We stayed for five nights and wish we could’ve stayed there forever, can’t wait to come back!

Wow, just wow! Unbelievable resort with outstanding service. The food was incredible, the pool was so relaxing, the entire hotel was absolutely breathtaking. My boyfriend and I unfortunately got a sun stroke on the first night but the way the staff took care of us, will never be forgotten. The farm is immaculate, wow! |The staff at the centro (Oswen and Alex) were amazing as well as the pool staff (Galvan and David) but not to forget Henar was just so special!

This hotel is heaven. ||With construction completed on their expansion, one of the most lovely places on the West Coast just got better. If that’s possible. ||An authentic oasis. ||The beach is iconic Baja. Big and wide and not crowded. Four pools (including a gorgeous 25m lap pool) each more jaw dropping than the next. Lush gardens from which the most heavenly flowers, herbs & foods are harvested and used through the property. Subtle, sophisticated & unpretentious aesthetics which please the eyes and soothe the soul. The attention to comfort & detail are felt throughout. And the new restaurant, KAHAL, which just opened, is truly situated like a 💎 in ma ring. Wow. All of this topped off by the kindest, most attentive staff. I cannot get back to Rancho soon enough!

stunning and thoughtful property beautiful and serene, embraces the natural beauty of the Baja in a magic way. Wonderful staff from F&B to spa to kitchen to housekeeping. Be ready to unplug. Pescadero and Todos Santos close by if you want to venture out with great restaurants. I recommend the tour of the garden with the chef and loved collecting eggs from the hens and meeting the bunnies. Creating a personal scent in Botanica was lovely. ||

If you have stayed at 5 star resorts in Cabo before you will be very disappointed here. It underwhelms from the beginning you enter the big wooden door. The concept is intriguing, but falls short in almost every way. ||NOTE: They tell you its ok to drink the water, but its not. I did get food poisoning at Centro. I had the breakfast burrito, and within an hour or two it was going to the bathroom and throwing up for the next 12 hours. Since the room was costing $1800 per night, I asked for a discount because my last two days and a night were horrible, and they credited me the burrito I ate; which I technically didn't eat. I think it was $18. That didn't seem reasonable to me, but whatever. ||We stayed in one of the suites and it was amazing, but the remainder of the hotel was a bit disappointing. The gym was horrible and the food was a little above average.

The setting, architecture, accommodations, and facilities were excellent. First impressions do mean a lot and our first night dinner at Botancia was very disappointing and seemed to set the tone for our stay. We were promptly seated and assigned a waiter who was ill prepared for his job. He had no knowledge of the dinner specials, very little familiarity with the food or cocktail menu and seemed this might have been his first night at the property. All these flaws were compounded by the fact the table next to us must have been occupied by VIPs since numerous staff were attending to the party of two who received generous wine pours, off menu items and long visits from staff, managers, and the chef. At the end of the evening my wife and I could only laugh about the contrast between our table and this one. I have never felt so invisible in a restaurant.||||Breakfast the next morning was also unusual. We arrived around 9:00 AM and there was no one around, no customers, no staff. I walked up and down the stairs with the intent of being noticed. We began to doubt the restaurant was open and that we were just early. We helped ourselves to coffee and chose a table. Many minutes later we were finally served. || ||The following day we signed up for a 9:00 AM culinary breakfast tour. We received a confirmation by email for the tour and as requested we arrived at 8:45 AM to check in. After making many inquires with the front desk staff, we were finally told at 9:15 that no one would be available for the tour. || ||Not wanting any future dining disappointments, we took are remaining two dinners at Hierbabuena which is right down the dirt road and very accommodating. Rancho Pescadero has potential if the service issues are solved.
Excellent staff, excellent service- five-star resort. Food is amazing, Michelin star quality. Andres, the food and beverage manager is on top of his game and so attentive. Daniel at the poolside is the sweetest! If you're looking for a laid-back, chill vacation with incredible accommodations, this is a must

Stay elsewhere. They just had a death due to toxic fumes. When we were there we reported it 3x and had to vacate our unit. Besides not being completely finished the site shows all kinds of benefits but; no pickleball courts, 3 pools not 5, minimum service due to lack of staff and the restaurant near the beach not even close to being finished. Want to pick eggs for your breakfast? Sounded like areat idea till the price was 50$ each. ||Stay elsewhere
