I love japanese food, found a new one, and dropped by to try after reading Google review from others.
The restaurant is clean and tidy. Waitress is very attentive.
Something interesting from the menu is that it has a salmon head cooked in a local style. I keep it in mind that it will be my next try. In the end, I ordered a set meal which has sushi and udon.
Overall, the price is at the high side based on the portion and freshness of the meal.
Today, I dropped by to try out the food again, and I hope it is improved. I ordered a set meal that has sashimi, salmon cooked in kimchi soup, and fried garlic rice. The tuna shasimi served was not fresh at all, asked the waitress, and replied by her it was fresh, from the pictures attached below, it tells.

Price may be on a steep side to some but all well worth and value for money cause the portion is HUGE! Thick cut of sashimi slices and non greasy tempura. Our toddler son wiped his garlic fries rice bowl clean. Burp! 😋

We were at the 1st floor seatings for 8. Place can accommodate quite a lot of people.
When there are too many people, service of the food can be quite long.

Cozy ambiance, delicious food, and excellent service, especially from the floor staff members Jane, Perjill, Arlene, and Tzusah. I used to go to their Tamarind Square outlet, but now that they have one in 16 Sierra, which is closer to where I live, I'll be back for more. Overall, I'm very satisfied and have always enjoyed the cuisine here. The spectacular dine-in service provided by their staffs at this outlet just adds to the overall nice experience.

We just moved to this area in November and were trying out new places to eat. Furu did not disappoint! We went here twice already and the food were on point. Fresh, hot, delicious. Portion is big. Salmon sashimi is too die for. Super fresh and thiccc. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Price wise, its a bit on the higher side but considering the quality of the food and service, its worth it. Will definitely come again.

The sashimi was fresh and thick. Price like normal Japanese restaurant in Puchong. But I feel worth it as the portion quite big. Overall food taste good and good service too. Definately will pay for 2nd, 3rd visit.😄

Love sangat! Food arrived within 5-10mins we ordered, great service, amazing food!!! The chef also served us dessert on the house! I've been wanting to go to Furu in Tamarind Square for so long but the timing always isn't right. Now we have one very close to home, thank you!!!

Portion was ample but staff rushed to clear tables so that they can get seats cleared fast as it was dinner time. Tempura and karaage used were cooked in cheap oil giving a sore throat.

Very new outlet in 16 Sierra, the presentation of food was very good. The front serving staff need more training. They don't know what is in the menu nor explain when being asked. Some foreign staff also have language issue.

Been here twice. The first time was with my husband and son. We were very impressed with the quality of the sashimi - fresh & thick, Nigiri sushi is on point - bite-sized rice with big piece of sashimi on top, maki rolls are "gigantic"... Because we really like the food here, we organized an extended family dinner (about 20 pax) a couple of months later. My family enjoy the food like I do. One watch-out is do not over order because their food portion is very generous :)
