We love stopping here on our drives to New Plymouth. Great coffee and good selection of food. The last few times we've come through it seems to be closing around 2pm so may be best to check ahead that it is open. Lovely places to sit inside and out and enjoy the gardens and ducks. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Very lack Lustre chicken and mushroom pies. No chicken in it to be found. Very average mince and cheese pie tasteless. Very average custard square. Very disappointing as hve been before and was lovely. Lovely atmosphere to stop and hve lunch but need to do better I'm afraid. A passing stop from Hawke's Bay to New Plymouth. Plenty of ducks following you and especially around the cafe. Easy to find, typical cabinet food and great coffee. Sit outside in the sun under an umbrella and enjoy the view, and ducks at your side! Great place to check out on a journey.

Went with family two of us had a hot chocolate and at bottom of cup last sip was incredibly bitter my throat felt funny other family member commented same with thiers, did not taste like cocoa was strong and bitter. Was worst hot chocolate I have ever had in my life.... Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
