Locals told me a lot about their pastries and cakes. I don't recall ever buying anything from there when I was a child, despite the fact that others had mentioned doing so for years. Located in the town centre, shoppers and passers-by can stop in for their favourites. I tried their 'rainbow marble cake,' as one of the locals referred to it. The texture and variety of colours in the cake pleasantly surprised me. In other regions of the world, marble cakes are made entirely of chocolate layers. This is their take on marble cakes. Because of the various colours, I would simply name it rainbow cake. I loved the texture. It was light and moist, due to the cream in between. If you do not like cream you may not enjoy it as much. The cream was just right for those who don't enjoy it as much as I do. I don't enjoy the cream puffs as much. They were rather small and filled with custards, not cream. Somehow the locals like sweet corns and they were added in the fillings. This place is full of surprises for the western's taste buds. You either love or dislike what they are offering. For the brave heart I suggest going for whatever you fancy and give your verdict. After all you can't find many of them around in other parts of the world. I could write a book on my experience but there is no space or time for me to do so here. My whole family’s favorite bakery! Ever since I was little, we always bought our birthday cakes here, tried lots of their pastries & even had a few meals at their cafe attached right beside. Love the Siew Bao the most, I would always get it every time I was back in Muar. It’s hard to find halal Siew Bao so this place is a blessing for us. The egg tart are huge & delicious as well, the curry puff & sardine pastries are amazing too. Bought their American Chocolate cake on my last visit & it was amazing. Not too sweet, a bit bitter, so rich & creamy. Even after being in the fridge for a week, it looks & taste super good. We love it! Can’t wait to come again & tried other menu next! Do drop by here whenever you guys are in Muar, you’ll love it 😍💓

One of the oldest bakery in Muar. Chiffon cake is the best, reccommended. The recipe is from 10 or 20 years ago (I think, because the taste is the same when I'm young). Now they have a cafe. Can order coffee and pastries from there. Perfect place to have a breakfast aside from Mee Bandong and Satay. Empty parking spaces are scarce. The only parking spaces are street parking. (No parking lot or parking garage).
The pastries are overpriced and the taste is just beyond awful. Bought the croissant and it was so bland. The egg tart was soggy and tasteless and all i could taste is flour. No egg and butter. Plain disg*sting. Im usually an easy eater even for subpar food. But their food is just extremely bad and does not worth the price AT ALL. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Lots of pastry goods available, and they taste good. Personal recommendation the egg tarts. There is a cafe place as well aside from counters and bakery goods that ready to be sold.

I have been buying their cakes since young. The traditional butter cream cake used to be my favourite. I found the taste is deteriorating, seems with lesser and lesser taste of butter. The rest of the pastries are OK.
I love the pandan cake! Also suitable for elderly. And the baked cheese tart, you will never forget it. ❤️🤭

Love most of the bun, they have different taste for each bun, so, please feel free to buy diverse bun. Cons: just some small categories of cake is less sweet for me.
