The rumors are true :) just tried this highly rated Japanese restaurant in Prachuap – absolute vibes! The owner is awesome, staff's top-notch, and the food? Everything that we ordered taste so so good. Seriously, if you're up for better eats and reasonably priced, check this place out. Everything we ordered was delicious !! Not to many pics because we ate all right away, we ate scallops , sushi, udon and pork , also if you have a proper carrier you can eat inside with your pet ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very disappointing gastronomic experience I ordered a Japanese staple - katsu curry with chicken. When it arrived I was shocked to find it consisted of a few minuscule shreds of chicken in a tiny bowl of watery sauce; looked nothing like the menu illustration. A bowel of cold rice was served separately, that tasted like it was cooked yesterday. Having eaten katsu curry on countless occasions before, I know the sauce’s consistency should be a little thick, but this one was like water, tasting more like a dishwatery stew than curry. I estimate there were no more than three baht’s worth of ingredients. Apart from the tiny threads of chicken there were a few lumps of carrot and potato. How can you call yourself a Japanese restaurant when you can’t make katsu curry? I thought it took nerve to serve something so abjectly awful to a customer, I’d have thought twice about serving it to a dog. Apart from the lady who speaks good English, service is gloomy and morbid. The waitresses shuffle around with very funereal expressions. This review is only for the Katsu curry. If they served what they gave me to everyone who ordered this dish the restaurant would have multiple one star reviews. If they didn’t have the ingredients in stock to make it properly they should have told me and I could have ordered something else. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We were there via recommendation from our friends living in the town. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The food was also excellent! Excellent Japanese food. Especially when they have fresh, local fish, which they make an effort to find. Good prepared dishes too. The owner has decades of experience in the business. Surprised me when I know there is Japanese restaurant in Prachupkirikun province where the owner and chef is Japanese. This place is only choose the fresh food so you can enjoy all the menus here. Sashimi is very fresh you can trust. In my opinion, good quality as in Bangkok May be better than some restaurants in Bangkok. Atmosphere is nice as Japanese restaurant. I missing this restaurant already. If I have a chance to go Prachupkirikun I’m sure I will have meal this place. Really surprising that can have so tasty Japanese foods that operated by the Japanese owner. He is very friendly and politely. I strongly suggested those who visit to Prachuap Khiri Khan must pay visit this restaurant.
