We've eaten here 6 or 7 times - NEVER disappointed. Easily the best food we've had in the whole Lake Region. Example: 2 days before Christmas we both had the Dungeness Crab - the freshest and most succulent we've ever had. Tom (the owner) even helped me navigate the cracking!
(Side note: at first I had to "get over" the super casual hunting-inspired environment, but now I embrace it !!)

We went with a party of 10, they were understaffed and working as hard and fast as they could gettting drinks and food orders. The kitchen had no problem keeping up, putting out appetizers and entrees in a timely manner. The portions are actually too large to finish. The chef is talented and puts out food that is creative and cooked well. This restaurant is a nice addition to the town of Fryeburg. Thank-you for a wonderful meal and taking care of my family . Each bite transported me to southern charm, as the tomatoes burst with a delightful combination of tartness and subtle sweetness. Paired with burrata cheese this appetizer was a flawless start to an extraordinary meal.
Next up with the appetizers, the steamed clams. Freshness was the name of the game here. The clams were plump, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The delicate flavors of the sea danced on my palate with every bite. The butter sauce elevated the already exquisite taste of the clams to new heights. It was a seafood lover's dream come true.
The steak beef tips over pappardelle were nothing short of a masterpiece. The succulent beef, seared to perfection, melted in my mouth. I went here for the first time with my partner, and safe to say we will be coming back whenever we're in the area! It's so clear that the chef handles the food with care, attention to detail, and passion for flavor. Best local spot for fresh seafood! I got the lobster roll with mayo and no joke, that tops every lobster roll I’ve had- couldn’t finish. Oysters and chowder were also amazing. Def worth the price.
Opened at 4 so we had a few drinks at the brewery next door.

I think I order the wrong choices when I come here because it’s never outstanding even though my friends love it. I waited a long time before my order was taken but the server was nice once she came around. I ‘m thinking this place is overrated. It is more expensive than other restaurants of the same caliber in the area.

The young lady was hustling tonight. They had a great crowd. Carlos was playing and singing up a storm. The old bay shrimp were tasty. I had haddock francaise, with asparagus, and croquettes. My wife had the Cesar salad. Beers were ice cold.
I almost turn my clock back 45 years and was going to bus a few tables.

Truly a gem in Fryeburg! An amazing menu with a great selection of almost anything you could want. While it may be on the more expensive side, it is so worth it. The freshness and HUGE portions can’t be beat, so come here hungry. Both the seafood and other meals were incredible, our party loved everything we got (Mexican street corn, haddock fish tacos, lobster roll, jaegerschnitzel, and more).
Another interesting part about this place is the menu changes a bit every week, aside from the regular staples. I’m sure this maximizes the freshness and keeps things interesting!
