This has it all, from the great value big breakfast, to the large oat and raisin cookies. Handy to hospital, open early if you're out for a great start to the day. Very reasonable prices, and friendly staff (name is appropriate) . Good drinks fridges, and also does tea, coffee, & milkshakes. Must be good if half the customers are tradies, teachers, & nurses. Well worth the trip.

Best Pepper Steak in the god damn city. Been buying their pies since 2017. Been buying pepper steaks in Wellington since many years prior and continue to buy them today. I have never tasted another pie as good as the friendly bakery pepper steak.

Our Residents' Association celebrated its 60th anniversary on 29th July with an afternoon tea at Newtown School Hall. The Friendly Bakery supplied sandwiches, savouries and slices - very good food, very helpful people - they live up to the 'Friendly' name!

Great Value and quality local Bakery that also does cooked food and coffee. This place is awesome lovely vibe and the staff are wonderful . Awesome range , friendly staff and prices - too good to miss !

That bakery is the best I've ever been to. The pies actually have a flavour that would blow your mind...that's why I go there daily. They use real cheese, and their prices are great. Best bakery EVER!!!! I'll never be going to another bakery again! Only theirs. And the name says it all. They are super friendly. When I was homeless out there, they would give us their left over food. They have massive hearts, with food that makes your soul excited
