The views do not get better than this! After our big climb, we treated ourselves to a drink and pastry treat. I had a very very very yummy donut that was exactly the sugar rush I needed. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

A great place to catch a bite with great views and use the restroom (customer only, code on receipt) Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person kr 1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
After 418 steps climbing You can see the harbor on the one side, the mountains on the other side and Ålesund down below. The view of this city is especially amazing at night. You can also visit the cosy restaurant at the top of the hill.
The town's own citymountain with a viewpoint service builing, contains a cafe and a resturat, last one can be rented to private party's/events and so on. Most likely the first and most known tourist attraction in Aalesund, and the first u must visit. It can be insanely crowded in nice weather days, and by that i mean.... U may not see shit😎
100 kroner for a landscape? It was free before... Let's also surround all the fjords and forests with a fence and take 10 euros to look behind it. Would you like to live in such a place?! Aksla Stua - shame on Ålesund!!!((( Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It’s not a restaurant, it’s more a canteen. Tourist people are everywhere to watch the view. The restaurant owners don’t care at all and therefore the good atmosphere with the lookout is somehow totally disturbed. It’s a pity because this place would have a very big potential to be an exclusive spot rather than a free lookout platform. I don’t recommend spend any money here. Just only enjoy the view and continue your walk. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

This restaurant at the top of the 418 steps to the hilltop overlooking Alesund, is one of the stops of the Hop-On-Hop-Off Tour Bus. I decided to start at the top and walk down to the town centre park below, LOL. But, before leaving, I had my lunch stop here with a ham & cheese on croissant. The staff behind the counter was friendly, courteous and made me feel welcomed. The food was unassuming cafe style, and tasted good. Even though there is seating inside, I chose to have my sandwich outside on the rooftop patio, which is also a fantastic spot to get a bird's eye view of Alesund. (The rooftop patio is only accessible from inside the restaurant, to the right of the entrance.) There are also other little lookout spots in the area of this restaurant building. I would recommend checking these out too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
