I would love to give this a 5 star review but unfortunately I just cannot justify paying $30 some dollars for a kids cheeseburger and a regular cheeseburger with one large fry, 2 drinks. The food was very good but folks it's a hamburger, not steak. The service was usual someone takes your order at a counter and hands you your food in a bag. Nothing special but no complaints, it's fast food. The place was pretty clean and not crowded when we were there. Maybe it's just the sign of our economy right now but it's hard to justify paying that price . The children's burgers were bigger than a McDonald's burger but my grandson couldn't eat all of it so having it bigger was a waste for this kid. A children's menu should be priced and sized for a child. I believe the child's burger alone was around $10.95 . Lesson learned here. Again I do want to state that the food tasted very good. It was a cheeseburger & fries how can that taste bad.? Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Ordered 2 burgers and one fry through Door Dash. Cost almost $55.00. The pics on the DD site are far from what you get. Tomato was bad , one piece of bacon on a $15 burger. Soggy and gross. When you call the store you can’t even talk to anyone. Sorry Customer Service. First and last time. Update: after talking with someone at Five Guys they are blaming Door Dash. They had nothing to do with making the burgers. This company cares nothing about its customers and the leadership team was supposed to contact me 10 days ago. They don’t CARE. The food was great today, but fries were a tad bit to salty today. Normally, not like that! Tables needed to be wiped down, but they were a little busy today. They also offer outdoor seating that has a covered patio, so not directly in the sun if hot or for those people like me who don't like to be cold. I have never had an issue here, so maybe an off day. Ordered on my way home from work this evening. Lil Cheeseburger, lettuce, grilled onions, mayo. I took two bites, and on the second bite noticed my burger was not cooked all the way through. Highly disappointing, spent way too much money for a burger I can’t even eat!!! Fresh meat!!! Fresh fries!!! (Cooked right in front of you) Can add a variety of toppings to your Burger or Hot dog. Great customer service. Worth the wait and price. Good portions and I always have extra fries because they give you more than enough. Best burgers!!! Don't waste money on McDonald's and etc.... JUST GO HERE. Ordered online on a Friday night. Get to the store and am told they are OUT OF BREAD. Offered to substitute hotdogs or wraps, not why I chose the establishment. Long story short, I have to go back home to pick up the card I used in order to do a refund, I get back 20 minutes later, there are a couple dozen customers and now they have bread. I stand at the pickup counter for 10 minutes, thinking they knew i would be back very soon and my order should be ready. I go unacknowledged for 10 minutes while my order bag sits empty on the shelf. I go to the register to get my refund and am asked why no remake. Maybe because I ordered online to minimize my wait and now I’ve been in the waiting room two times and they clearly are going to make me wait for all the other orders before getting to mine. So I have many questions, 2 of the most pertinent are: 1) How’s does a high priced burger joint run out of buns on a Friday night? 2) I provide a contact number with my order so why didn’t one of the 8 people working contact me as soon as placed the order. Not sure if I'll get to post a picture of my burger. But it is absolutely astonishing that this company stays open while charging 15 dollars for a "Cook Out" quality burger. 20 bucks for a smashed burger and a "regular" fry. Gross.

Place was filthy! They were out of hot dog buns! Out of condiments at their station and the freestyle was not mixing correctly. Add the ridiculous prices and this is just not a decent value. In fact, it looked like there was zero management at the restaurant! One positive, they had help but not sure what they were doing. It was not customer service! Five guys is one of my favorite places to go to in the gastonia area. I love the free peanuts and the burgers are excellent too. The service is fast as you will never wait for more than a couple of minutes for your food. Five guys is also a great place for you to go sit down and eat.
