Went for a quick hi tea. Had figs tea juice, figgy special and figs cake. It was decent Nice cafe at the outskirts They have a fig farm behind the restaurant but sadly it was closed at the time we came. I know sharing the food pictures is the most ideal in every reviews but here .. I just wanna show you all how satisfied I am with the meal served. This is not my first time here, Last Oct we bumped into this restaurant by accident and now we are hooked to it. Everytime you think of Ikan Patin Tempoyak, this place is surely what comes to my mine. Their generous portion and taste is consistent. Highly recommending this place to those who is travelling to Janda Baik. And for those who is craving for good malay meal, just take a drive here. ;) one of my fav spot. We always come back for more. Such a calm place for lunch on weekdays and eventhough its quite crowded during weekends, the service is super fast. My favourite is the wagyu pasta and lambchops. One time, the lambchop was very tough and almost unedible. We asked for it to be changed, and they changed it promptly without hesitation while saying sorry and such. They took their quality seriously and its always nice to come back and try their food. I just hope they bring back the duck pasta dish because that was really good imo. Used to come here years ago, their local delicacies like asam pedas was so good! Came this time around at night with large families, food menu has changed, seemed to focus more on western food now. Cakes were good especially the fig cake, but there rest was so-so. Coffee was basic, non espresso very watered down 2/5. There’s a fig farm behind the cafe, they used to have more figged-food which was unique. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

This place has a very homey, laid-back vibe, but don't let that fool you. The owners are friendly and have a warm welcome smile. One can enjoy some delicious meals here and participate in creating your art masterpiece aside from visiting the fig farm. Got to try their homemade fig baked Basque Cheese Cake. Worth every $$$. Beef wagyu and lamb ribs sets were served nicely in generous portions. Asam pedas jenahak here instantly become my mom's favourite. And you could find fresh figs in almost every dish (well the name is 'figgy's cafe' so say no more 😂) Excellent service by the staff and manager btw.
