I had the honor of being invited to a dinner party at Boss Fan Hakka restaurant in Toufen City, Miaoli County. Despite my initial perception of Hakka food being bland, I was
pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of dishes offered at this establishment.
Here are some of the highlights of my experience:
* Cozy Atmosphere: The restaurant is tastefully decorated and pristine, giving off a vibe of fine dining that is different from what one would expect from a "Hakka" restaurant.
* Top-Quality Dishes: The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, from traditional basic Hakka dishes to luxurious dishes made with the best quality and artistic presentation in every single dish.
* The owner, Vince, is creative and makes a fusion between Hakka food and the artistic taste and presentation in French style, which is fantastic.
* Great Service: The staff are courteous and professional, and the owner, Vince, is a great gentleman who is professional and cordial.
* Signature Tea: The restaurant's special tea is absolutely refreshing and is a must-try. Although I don't know the name, I'm sure the staff would be happy to offer it.
Overall, Boss Fan Hakka restaurant is one of the best premium Hakka cuisine restaurants in Taiwan, offering a modern take on traditional dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience and highly recommend it.

didn't know this place before my colleague brought me here. the duck is really out of this world, fried but juicy and soft. it really amazes me that they had a full house during wednesday noon. highly recommend to pay another visit one day.
