They post coupons in local papers. You must order from their app. The problem is: I’ve never been able to figure out how to apply the coupon. It’s extremely difficult and frustrating! No one at the Fairfield location knows enough to help out. Dave is not making any friends by the way the coupons works. My first experience with famous Dave’s was at the Great Mall Of America in Minnesota. Ever since they are to me second to none. Best ribs I’ve ever had Kenny Rogers Dickeys don’t even come close neither does Texas Bbq Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The restaurant was short staffed, an you realized it when you walked in the door, watch your attitudes if you dine. Be prepared, you’re gonna be waiting for an available hand, I work food service so I understood completely. THANIA was responsive an did her duties, she gave you space which let you enjoy your food. Very attentive regardless of the short staff predicament. Thank you🫶🏽

The brisket sandwich was poor. It was the texture of chip chop ham, and the meat was very fatty. The BBQ sauce was perfectly average, and the bun was a bun. Could have been elevated a bit for the price. The side of fries was generous in size, but they are the thick, mushy wedge style. Not my thing, but they were good for what they are. The slaw is nice. Not too sweet, and the pepper really came through for a small amount of warmth. Probably the best part of the meal. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Johnny Carino's used to be a great place to go, but it seems it has gone down quite a bit. What help there is seems to be doing double or triple duty so there is a long wait for service. Prices have gone up quite a bit and some portions are smaller. The last couple times there I haven't seen more than 8-10 inside. The food is still good and enjoyable. Ordered to go and they were friendly and got the order right. They are inside a Johnny Carinos and I don't think they have a real bbq set up with a smoker, which is essential for good bbq. The wings were cold. The brisket was not good, it tasted like it was cooked in an oven with no smokey flavor and cooked within the last few days or so. The ribs tasted fine and had a good sauce, probably oven cooked though. I can't say I will choose this place again.

I am letting everyone and including the Famous Dave in Hayward to know I order my platter for 2 yesterday and I got food poisoning in Fairfield, ca. They don’t care about us as consumer and not just my review but other customers is leaving the same scenario. The coleslaw was never in the fridge nor they threw it away. The purple coleslaw would dye with a redness liquid mayonnaise as you can tell it was a day or two day old sitting outside. The one in Hayward always amaze me but the one in Fairfield…it was food poisoning. I am calling the food poisoning and soon they will contact the franchise owner. I felt dizzying all day and my leg is weak in which I am still in bed since this morning. It smell and I didn’t know but ate a small portion and now I am really sick.

Boy lemme tell you I just had some very bomb BBQ from famous Dave's!! The brisket was bomb as well as the ribs. The Mac and cheese was tasty as well. Love the corn and jalapeños in it!! Thanks for a great dinner!!
