Fantastic Cafe with some delicious and beautiful dessert. We love the mango desert🥭, it looks nice and taste even better. The caramelized croissant 🥐 was mind blowing with it's crispy outer layer, soft and tender center, a nice mix of sweet and savory that blends well in your mouth.😋😋😋 Too bad they only produce limited pieces each every day. Plan to take away a few and was told it was all sold out at 130pm. 😭

Nice place to chill in a hot afternoon. Ordered tuna sandwich, cheese and ham sandwich, cappuccino and a hot tea. The croissants were really good. Kouign Amman has a nice texture and looks pretty. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was generally good, albeit at very steep prices - probably higher than cafes in KL. Quite comfortable ambiance too. Service left much to be desired though. The staff was quite emotionless and very rigid. We spent close to 200 among the 5 of us, with each person ordering their expensive drinks and yet they want to charge us RM1.10 per person when we requested for plain water. I dont think any of the cafes in KL actually charges for plain water... Also wanted to charge when we asked for a sip of milk for our long black.

The food in general is the best in Ipoh. The cakes are very nice and not too sweet except some of the Christmas special. The pastry is first class can beat many cafe in Paris which i tried before. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 100–120 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
The pastries here is truly really good but lack of choices. The drink is alright. Parking is mostly always full these days coming here especially during the weekends. The cafe can be too lively at times with loud music and too many people talking trying to beat the music background. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Pain Au Chocolat
Ambience is very nice and relax. Staff is friendly, helpful and approachable. She even gave us a complimentary cake to try out as it was our first time visiting the cafe. My kids love their pastries. Will definitely visit again the next time I come Ipoh. Service Dine in Meal type Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Lemon Tart Fruit Tart & Macaroons

Having visited here a few times now, as a pastry lover, it does seem like être is the choice to be for my pastry cravings. Known for its French pastry, it is indeed a rare find in Ipoh. That said, through my few experiences, some of these pastries are not consistent in terms of taste and texture. Sometimes it’s extremely sweet, sometimes it’s too flaky. Don’t get me wrong, in general it’s good (I mean considering this is “Ipoh”). While I’m unsure the background of this patisserie either all items are prepared by their renowned Chef Ann, or basically it’s just her creation and sometimes she will prepare them her own, it just at times - it’s lacking of consistency. I use to come here for my coffee cravings too, but my last visit seems odd when I was inform they no longer serve piccolo - because they are not professional barista. It’s not something that you’ll tell your customer. However, with a little courage, I just let them know just make it like a latte but lesser milk :) All in all, it is still a good place to go if you are craving for some french pastry in Ipoh. Price is a little steep as compared to other local cafes, but I’m sure they have a good reason - like the imported ingredients which they might be using. I only hope their consistency of quality & taste stays with proper QA when it’s prepared by the commis. P/S, I personally like the pain au pistachio and “mango”. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Beautiful boutique cafe with delicious cakes, coffee and pastry. However, items are overpriced and they charge you for milk in your tea!?!? (that's criminal...) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cakes
Love the desserts,, i can taste every component of them without overpowering each other. Reasonable price compared to Penang and taste fresher. Would come again next visit. Service Take out Price per person RM 60–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The hospitality is very amicable. We wanted to order pain au chocolate but it was sold out, so we ended up having their famous mango and strawberry pistachio macaron. But suddenly the staff came and told us that they have one more pain au chocolate available. Mango: mousse w white chocolate coating w passion fruit filling in the middle. I’m not a mousse fan but this is amazing! 4.5/5 Strawberry pistachios macaron: WOULD TOTALLY COME AGAIN FOR THIS. 5/5 Pain au chocolate: 5/5 Croissant: 4/5 Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pain Au Chocolat
