This hurts to write cause I'm a massive fan of the locations around the city so when I heard they were opening nearby I damn near lost it. All hopes and excitement were soon gone when I discovered that it was a drastically scaled back version of what I was used to. Above that the empanadas didn't merit the price because they didn't taste fresh. I'm used to the made/fried to order ones that taste fresh but these taste like they were frozen. Even if the other locations freeze theirs I was never able to tell. I don't know, between the limited menu, poor visibility from the street, and value, I don't see the location lasting much longer, especially in a town with more latin American and hispanic food options than you can name. $4.50 for an empanada is legitimately criminal. They’re solid enough, but $4.50? And the dude working there mismatched all the empanadas and labeled pouches, so we basically had to bite into each empanada to even know what flavor it was. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
