This place is really beautiful after the renovation. I had dinner here and really enjoyed the food and the service. That night Neel was there to help me and he was very kind. Later I started talking to Anushka, who had a very friendly energy and because of him I decided to come back the next morning for breakfast. Breakfast was 1500 and I got so much food I could only eat half, very tasty! The balcony also has an amazing view. Nice place and kavinqu our waiter so nice and friendly the place have very nice view and the sunset is amazing we order steak omg fantastic 😍 I love it and we order pasta carbonara unfortunately it's not spaghetti and no taste at all 😞 regarding to the pizza they used ketchup sauce instead of tomato sauce so the flavor it was so strong and salty. I had an absolutely delightful experience at Ella Heritage Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Imali, the hostess, who exuded kindness and made me feel incredibly welcome. The service throughout my dining experience was impeccable, and the staff's attentiveness added to the overall enjoyment. The breakfast was soo good!!! The food is amazing. Specially mix nasi,chicken biriyani,mix koththu..wow...this restaurant is the best restaurant in sri lanka.I invite all local and foreign friends to come to this place and enjoy the food.Specially in here you can find best rice and curry ....really delicious, no spicy... The owner is the loveliest guy. Delicious food at good prices. Peaceful location away from the noisy Main Street. Open clean kitchen so you can also watched your food being prepared. We ordered chicken fried rice and Sri Lankan veg curries with rice. Egg plant and lentil curries were the tastiest! Very generous serve of rice. I only took 1/5 of the rice offered as I didn’t want it to go to waste. We came back for egg hoppers breakfast. You get 3 hoppers plus tea or coffee. The egg hoppers were fluffy. Not like the crispy ones we had eaten from street vendors. I guess they bought them elsewhere and microwaved them?

Service was terible. We ordered lump rice, but there were no leafe cover, there were missing ingrideants such as coconut sambal, whitch was in perscription. On top of that, vegetables and egg in rices were spoiled. And we waited more than one hour to just leave with empty stomachs. Waiter was really bad, anpolite, did not received help at all.

The menu features a variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes, and the food was simply delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Sri Lankan curry, which was rich and flavorful, and the grilled seafood, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the service was impeccable. Overall, I would highly recommend the Ella Heritage Restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Ella. This is one awesome place to have food! The varieties they have is amazing. The taste is very authentic and i just loved the ambience. The staff are very helpful. I order local srilankan thali and if you look at the picture you would know how beautiful and yummy it looks. Every item was delicious and mouth watering. Love the place and its a must visit!
