My favorite hostel in Uganda. This place is amazing, it felt like a rehabilitation center in the best possible way. The food and coffee options at the cafe were amazing (highly recommend the kale chips and cappuccino). The dorms are so comfortable and I loved the outdoor showers. The community and staff are extremely kind as well. Overall - the perfect place to stay overnight, socialize, eat, and work in Uganda. I met so many other interesting people while here. I consider it my new favorite getaway Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was great especially the chapatis. The service was fair and I noticed that waitresses favor the whites more because I waited for close to 30 minutes to get my order ready. ELEPHANTE STAFF ARE AMAZING!! They made me feel most welcome and cared for. The food was absolutely impeccable - shout out to head chef Elisha who kills it every time - and there wasn’t a time when I didn’t see a boatload of smiles. Amazing amazing amazing time and I 100% recommend traveling here if you get the chance.

It has a natural and green atmosphere, conducive, tho sometimes noisy in case of events. Tree scenery is beautiful. And serene under the sheds. The food is okay nothing striking about it, the service is terrible, I wish I could have given it a half star, the only time the server came to my table without me asking as to bring the bill and even then I hadn't asked for it.
